I didnt think much of David Cassidy I thought he was a pretty boy. Hearing him belting out "She's so Beautiful" proves me wrong he can sing and act. Thank you for this rare gem. 😊
1:06 Both The Costumes and wigs alike here remind me of Starlight Express. There might have been a lack of rollerskating, but like Starlight Express, the costumes and wigs looked Futuristic and as dated as the 1980s. Also, Time the Musical had exceedingly expensive special effects, even for a London Theatre.
Holy cow! Ive been searching for clips of David playing in TIME for years. Thanks so so much for sharing. You would'nt happen to have any more would you please? I saw this show just before it closed and loved it so much and had the album, but it didnt have a couple of the songs on it in the show like I dont like you, thats featured in the clip here(ive been humming that one for almost 30 years! lol) would greatly appreciate it if you had any more from this fab show. :-)
I also saw David in the show in London. I sat in the first row and kept thinking “wow, I can almost touch him”, lol. I wish I had found this clip sooner, but I’m so happy I did now. I never thought I would find anything from this musical.
I saw this musical 3 times and loved it. I think DC sang it better than Freddie Mercury, Dave Clark wanted Mercury, but Freddie said he didnt get up until 3pm and his voice couldn't do it. So glad DC did! . I never saw Cliff Richard.Dc was great.
I’m a huge fan of David and he had a great voice but nobody could ever sing better than Freddie that’s for sure. Well however, I’m a huge fan of both David and Freddie...we lost two amazing talented artists and two great unique personalities. R.I.P.
Oh, you should have seen Cliff in TIME. He was superb. I saw TIME over 100 times, and on my 100th time I met Cliff personally in his dressing room at the Dominion Theatre. David was good too. I love David as well, don't get me wrong, but Cliff is the love of my life.
@@mikekaraoke he mentions it in one of his books. Here's a quote from one of his books "I must say that, even though it was successful, I thought Time was a bad play - no real story, no substance."
Watched it at least 30 times. Awesome musical. Watched it many times with David too. Enjoyed so much.

@@AnneCherch Very cool. I really wasn't a huge Cliff fan. But I was a HUGE DC fan.
