Mannn I can't even take Cuba's serious. He only had the ones he owns not even the ones he's smelled, sampled or anything like that....would need something more in depth from someone eventually.
We all apreciate your efforts Diogo but this Xerjoff Buying Guide situation is increasing the engagement because of the comments. Therefore, Omar will probably stall for as long as he can until he FINALLY gives you your so deserved guide. Keep going though, we're all rooting for you!
A montale buying guide would be great .. i think they have that same sample option on their website .. but they have too many to do all of them .. but maybe that could be a two or three video series .. i think they're a great affordable gateway into niche ..
Have Fahrenheit Parfum for winter nights (absolute banger IMO) and DHP which only gets broken out occasionally for special occasions. Got both when the rumour mill said they were being discontinued which didn’t turn out to be the case in the end, but they’re both loves for me so all glad they’re in my collection.
As far as I remember, Eau Sauvage EDT has 2,5% of Hedione in final product, it's quite a lot. I also think it is a very nice citrus-chypre French classic. I am personally a fan of this perfume, I would definitely buy a bottle.
Exhaustive and comprehensive list of Dior fragrances interestingly and precisely described. Placing is a bit of a personal thing. Very entertaining and highly enjoyable video !!!
Fahrenheit Aqua was one of the best fragrances I ever had in my life. So many compliments. Men wanted to know what it is and the ladies loved it just loved it on me.
Yeah you gotta respect Dior in the way that every designer cologne copies what they do… I agree almost entirely with this list. I’d have no reservations putting Elixir even lower. I think it smells way better on other people. I can’t stand wearing it though, very annoying to my nose
I am one of the few that really like eau forte, I mainly bought it as I could get it prior to release so that may cause some bias but I think it's definitely worth a try
Been thinking of getting Homme Intense to use for the Winter season. Just not sure between 50ml or a 100ml. Tested it out in store lasts a solid 9 hours on me.
First of all, great job with this review. On the other hand, I'm not a big fan of Dior house. Remakings, flankerings... Also, nowadays with the Sauvage line I could smell like an exboyfriend and it's the 'get ready to stay in the friend-zone forever'. In brief, I think that Fahrenheit and Dior homme parfum are the best ítems on your list, because I consider that is possible to find better options for the others. See you soon!
Personally, I would place Dior Homme Intense just below Dior Homme Original - switch them. I notice that you did not include Jules? It is still available on the French website (along with Higher, Higher Energy, and Dune Pour Homme). I also would place Dune Pour Homme into spot 15 pushing the others down. And I would swap Fahrenheit with Fahrenheit Parfum, with me preferring the latter by far.
Dior Homme Original deserve the n°1 spot for it's versatility. It has also similarities with some Chanel Private line in terms of DNA maybe Olivier Polge was working at the same time on those fragrances since the Dior was released in 2005 and the Chanel les Exclusifs was launch in 2007. The DHP 2014 is amazing and definitely niche quality (I have both + the Intense) but way less versatile (I use it maybe 5 /6 times a year) . And it also have a similarity with "Le Lion" by Chanel " 2020 but in this case Demachy was the perfumer for DHP 2014 and for the 2021 version ( they smell exactly the same and definitely in beast mode territory). DHP is the best for special occasions
My top 5 are... DHI, Fahrenheit Parfum, Eau Sauvage Extreme, Eau Sauvage Parfum, Sauvage EDT. They are not in order. Why Sauvage EDT. When it first came out it was too strong. Too much pepper. Over the years it got reformulated and toned down in pepper and has smoothened ambrox. EDP has vanilla and spice and for me it was just a tad bit too much spice. Parfum is amazing and the best in the line but... for me its too similat ro BDC parfum where BDC veats it every time. In complexity, longevity, smell wise, compliments... this is the reason why I am wearing Sauvage EDT as its the freshest and if I need a similar but darker deeper frag... I go BDC Parfum
@@timsi54 i used to have a bottle of both at one point. i think that prada lhomme just comes off a lot sweeter and denser. dior homme eau was basically a toned down version but more complex and better blended imo
Hello from Iran. In my country its hard to find and buy original fragrances because of financial problems and sanctions. but there is a company which creates this fragrances at a really affordable price ( like sauvage x baccarat for 1$ per ml). i wish you could smell them and tell me what you think about it 😂😂😂. I think some of their fragrances are awesome at the price they are offering.
Sauvage Eau Forte isn't that bad. On paper, it sucks. On skin for me, it's really good. You really have to wear it to understand. For me, it was worth burning a gift card😂
I had the unplesure to see the new Sauvage on a duty free in Oslo. The whole bottle was covered in the white liquid. It was disgusting. I put my nose right against it and could nearly smell anything. It looked like a tiny bottle of hand lotion. I asked the seller how meny have they sold. She said, non till now (02.10)
That stuff is absolutely amazing! I have a buddy who works for Dior in London. He gave me a two-thirds filled bottle of Sauvage Elixir, which I absolutely love. He also gave me a little 15ml bottle of Oud Ispahan oil and a tester bottle of EDP.... holy shit, when I first smelled it, I was blown away. The woods, the rose..... it's amazing!
Please report the Xjoff guy for spamming the comment section to UA-cam. It's gotten ridiculous at this point. Also guys, please excuse my behaviour. Because it seems now I am doing the same spamming as him. However once he stops and we can actually discuss the video topic and/or fragrances in general, I will ofcourse stop this aswell.
Eau Forte is trash!!! Deserving of last place. Hated the smell and the white juice doesn't dry down as quickly alcohol-based perfumes. It's juice is white. . . enough said not to buy this overpriced junk.
Sauvage Elixir is No 1, and No 2 is Dior Homme Parfum, while No. 3 is Dior homme 2020, which is far better than BDC with all its flankers. BDC is so so boring and a low performer.
Didn’t ash from gents scents just make a video ranking dior fragrances? Again, it’s weird to make a review video when you haven’t even smelled all the fragrances you’re reviewing. Repeating what you see on fragrantica is not a fair way to review a fragrance.
We got a 2nd Dior buying guide before a Xerjoff one. 😭
sadge
It's actually sad
Go check Cubaknow out, I know he listed like 10 or 12 in his breakdown
Good

@@Mr1237 Is it that good? I can get the 100ml for 280 on a discounter.

Thanks Omar. I bought Dior Homme Intense and Eau Sauvage Parfum based on yours and George's recommendations. Don't regret either purchase!
Your list gets my approval
My top 5:
Farenheit EDT
Homme Cologne
Sauvage Elixir
Homme intense
Sauvage EDT

Hey Omar I've always wondered, where do you sell the frags you want to get rid of? Or do you just give them away to friends/family?
No dior privee?
How is it that we are stuck on 37.9% subscribers watching for such a long time 🤣🤣🤣
cuz he hasn’t dropped the xerjoff guide yet 😂
Must be about 8 months now. Omar’s daily interlude begging for subscribers rivals Xerjoff guy for being the most boring thing on the internet.
Tts what im thinking.. This 37.9% is soo long..
Just watching this video while having 5 sprays of Sauvage Elexir in a 80+ Degree weather.

I didnt care about the Xerjoff buying guide till now, just found out how cheap theyre sample kits are and dont know which pnes to go for

DHP #1... Justice is Served Right 👌
i know it’s discontinued, but if dior homme eau was on this list i’d put it in top five. it was the best fresh iris scent out there imo

Shouldn’t rank Eau Forte without smelling it, dude. That’s just lazy reviewing.
I tried it and Elixer and completely agree. They both suck.
That’s cool - at least you tried it. Omar couldn’t be bothered to get off his ass and go to a store. That’s a credibility hit.
