Thanks for watching guys! Do you want to see a video where Sam and I react and ‘analyse’ fragrances you suggest that neither of us have tried before similar to the last one here? :)
Yes please! And keep it this way, dont show the bottle, because I like when he just doesn't know what the brand, what makes his opinion so honest and that what we wanna hear from expert like Sam!
I totally want to see more like this. Also wanted to say, I’ve been enjoying Mr Maritime so much, and it just keeps growing on me. I literally have cravings to smell it when I’m not wearing it. Amazing job; I even bought a backup bottle.
Love this format! Very engaging and immersive, but also very chill and laid back. Nice change of pace from the usually more short form, fast pace stuff on UA-cam nowadays
I really appreciate you both. You are the best together with Aaron Terence Hughes. Absolutely best channels regarding perfumery in entire Internet. I love the vid!
Lovely format. Would be great to see you both try fragrances you never smelled before to see the initial reaction. Especially niche houses or hidden gems.
That's not true. ATH said he loves how Prada L'Homme Intense smells, but thought it was too safe and a bit too expensive for what it is. And he gave it a 7/10 because of those 2 points. Aaron always appreciates perfumery, even if it's not his cup of tea (i.e. Prada LHI).
I cant be more agreed to his picks specially I still feel like Monkey special is my special special occasion scent, I always sniff it, but didnt wear it, I leave it to the special day when I will wear it, I have Prada L'hommr and allure extreme as well, and I don't understand why so hyped, theyre just good, not bad at all, overall, he nailed it, more videos like this Omar, that was interesting !
I love Tony Iommi. I think it's not super versatile though, because it's projecting a lot and is quite boozy, leathery and sweet. It's definitely a night time scent you can even wear to the club. I think it's also very cozy and addictive.
can you feature top 10 men perfume in 2005? i dont know the name of that perfume im looking but it look like Jean Paul Gaultier in a can but cant find it in so it might be different.
To me there is a consumer rating and a perfumer rating. I could see his conundrum on ranking frags, especially blindly. What's meh to him is what sells to the masses
Love the idea as always, interesting how Sam seems to be a kind of "outsider" perfumer because he doesn't really adhere with the traditional style of mainstream perfumery as he respects but doesn't really go with the 60's powders, the 80's powerbombs or the 00's freshies. That means his work must be distinctively unique, will check his vids too
Hey Omar, I’m also a fragrance content creator on Tiktok and I’m curious where do you get those clips. I mean you say “gentleman” and there is a guy with a suit, or “cherry” and there is a tree with cherries. It would help me a lot in my work! I would be glad! 🙏
Strange take on prada lhomme intense, it smells like a normal cologne you can just spray on? It’s hella unique not a clue what he’s on about, ATH (Aaron Terrence hughes) on top
@@flightgravity7483 Aaron Terence Hughes doesn't like it as its not the type of fragrance that he would go for but he respects the quality of the perfumery & gave it an 8/10. this 3.5 guy is a bit clueless
I feel like Sam was thinking about the ratings too much, I know he’s a perfumer he’s taking into account a lot of things but it’s not that complicated either you like the fragrance or not either way nice collab Omar
I agree with Sam on the Chanel, I had to sell my bottle after 1 spray...it reminded me of an old car full of musty leather, shag carpet and a mix of those xmas tree air fresheners. I do love the normal Allure Homme Sport tho.
Yeah, people don't understand that everyone has different opinions on perfumery. I wouldn't buy most of the designers, but I love niche fragrances. Like you said, I love that he gives honest opinions on fragrances. Invite Aaron more, please!
I absolutely HATE how Tony Iommi smells. I was very excited to try it out and once I got it…I put it in the way back corner of my closet. It smells very off-putting to me, I will never wear it.
Agreed on all of these ratings. I love him bashing the community favourites. Prada L’homme intense and AHS extreme are dumpster fire fragrances. I wouldn’t pick them up if they were giving them out for free.
Love the blind tests. I've smelled so many fragrances that reviewers have hyped, but then I get my nose on them, and I'm like... "Meh." Case in point, the Chanel fragrance. I don't get it. Thanks again, guys!
No it's because he has a very basic take on perfumery in that he has to personally like the elements. I like Mango, I'll give an extra point. Its about respecting good perfumery aswell as personal preference
@@MJR1117he was rating it subjectively not technically for the most part. Also if your favorite note showed up in fragrance and it was done well you’re telling me you would like it the same without it?
Your content is amazing! I'm a bit disgusted by all those "panty dropper" videos, they're awful and tacky, so it's quite nice to see nice and very fine content as yours.
Nice guy but I’m not confident he’s a genuine perfumer. Either that or he’s just an awful communicator. When you watch someone like this who a “perfumer” you want to see a little more knowledge being shared rather than vague consumer-esque comments.
@@rotta8548 That’s all well and good but he should be able to give a deeper response to fragrances. Surely that’s the idea of having a perfumer on your channel? To give a different angle of thought.

Love Sam's lack of industry/community influence. Unabashed honesty is always refreshing and a perfumer's perspective is very interesting (i.e. ATH).
I love when youtubers work with other youtubers in the same industry. Great work
0:29 happy to be 1 out of the 5 women who watch this channel hahaha
We appreciate you! 😆
2/5 😅 would be fun to see you both do unisex/womens perfumes
I wish all the youtubers would make videos like this together. Like gent scents, chaos, like do a collaboration video that would be sick
I love honesty, and this is a really great reaction, and also thumbs up for Omar
My two favourite UA-cam perfume/aftershave personalities together. More of these please 🙂

Those notes for Baraonda are typical shot in the dark guesses from Fragrantica. Gaultieri never reveals the notes for his fragrances.
Lovely format. Would be great to see you both try fragrances you never smelled before to see the initial reaction.
Especially niche houses or hidden gems.
I loved the way he talked about Kouros! I feel the same about that perfume all the time! ❤ Wish that guy to be a new Piere Bourdon!
Perfect format, would love a double rating, one for technicality one for artistry.
Prada LHI shat upon by Sam and ATH, both slating it for too simple and too expensive. Omar nails it 10/10.

8/10 for kuros but 5.5 on prada lhomme intense and 3.5 on allure eau extreme, 🤣🤣🤣 who is this guy
That's the worst mark I ever heard for Chanel Ahsee
One who knows what's up, that's who
Prada L'Homme Intense is also a 5-6 for me, tastes are different.
Great format. Really unique. Do more :)
Great video. I love hearing a different opinion. This is especially true if it is from a perfumer. Well done.
