Gonna be a stunner! That’s a ton of work. I have a black 55 hardtop that I did when I was in high school way back when. I sanded and sanded did guide coat sanded some more and repeated again. It’s hard work.
I think there is more 55 bel Airs on the road today than GM originally produced. they are that popular amongst classic car owners. You can’t go to a car show without seeing at least five or six of these cars. They are everywhere. Which is kind of a shame.I really do love these cars. But I don’t like the idea of owning something that everybody else has and it takes away from the rarity. It’s kind a like you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. You guys did a phenomenal job on this one that’s for sure.🛠

55s are my favorite out of the try 5s I had 4 of them and one nomad 55 was my first car I paid 65.00 dollars for it back in 1965 I had 3 57s one 58 and one 1960 and my second favorite car is a split window vett. Am 73 like I told you before I don't know if you remember but am very impressed 😉 about the work you do and it takes a lot to do that. I painted many cars vetts motor cycles trucks boats and every time I started to paint I would get butterfly's LoL 😆it's easy to screw up and a lot of time to fix . But thank God I never did.. take care 👍 P.S. will this car be driven.
Nothing like a black 55!! Looks great guys!!
Thanks...we agree, a 55 in black is hard to beat.
Great job at process description. Learning a ton, thanks!
Thanks James!!
i guess it is kind of off topic but do anyone know of a good place to watch new movies online?
@Kamden Carter lately I have been using FlixZone. You can find it on google =)
@Beau Dwayne yea, I have been watching on FlixZone for since march myself :D

Wow Black beauty 👍
Thanks Dave!
If you paint it black, it better be perfect! Looks fantastic!
Attention to detail is enough to make cry. Patience is a virtue. I'd fail measurable. They deserve respect.

Wow
Hi love your work from down under Australia any reason you painted this in Sikkens & not Glasurit ?
It would be cool if you guys showed the booth temps and hg levels as well.
OMG
Did you guys re-sand and re-clear the body like the other parts?
The body and all the components will cleared, sanded, and re-cleared...then cut and buffed.
✌👍❤
what kind of gun you using
Paint is applied with guns by SATA.

Very nice ,but things are becoming over the top
If he just sprayed the base, stay the hell outta the booth! It’s disrespect.
I was about to comment the same thing!!
Ken is both my friend and coworker...I never enter the booth without his direct permission.
Roger that sir.
