I mean the resemblance is uncanny but who cares, it does look good. Huawei at least was not as retarded as apple trying to fit that shitty butterfly keyboard in there. Gotta give them credit for that.

Would you recommend me to buy a Matebook 2019 I5 8th gen with Nvidia Geforce 250mx or 2020 with i5 10th gen and intel UHD 620 graphics? I'm mostly going to use final draft, photoshop and a video editing every now and then. Thanks and keep up the great work.

Is there an easy way of disabling the touchpad? I really liked this laptop in the store, but was somewhat annoyed that my hands would interfere with the touchpad as I was writing. ANyone else experience this?

Hi i am a mechanical engineer about to take a ms in mechatronics i am wondering if the matebook 13 i7 is sufficient for cad/simulation softwares such as ansys? Or should i go with the 2018 matebook pro for the 16gb or ram?
I'm using it for cad too and it runs just fine with the i5 version and the cad program I'm using is inventor

Looks like you linked to the I7 version with both links. At least that's what I'm getting when i try to look at the I5 version. You might want to check that.

I am doubting on picking a Dell xps 13 with an i5 coffee lake for 1450 euros or this huawei matebook with an i7 and a huawei p20 smart with it. I'm not going to use the phone, but for 1299 it seems like a way better deal. What is your guys opinion on this? I can't decide
Luuk it really depends on your use case. If you need the extra power of the i7 over the i5, which tbh isn’t a lot then go for the huawei. But with the dell having thunderbolt 3, overall better company imo and just every review says that it is ‘the best laptop’ id day that that is the go-to option if the budget allows it. Since my budget didnt like 1450 i pre ordered the i5 matebook and am going to sell the phone haha
@@fantaaa61 i was planning on the same thing if i would get the Matebook, already had a friend interested in the phone xD. Yea but since my money is already at the company (i was allowed to get a refund on my 1500 euros laptop) i will go for the dell. I will rarely ever do PS or Première pro, so its mostly for browsing and stuff like documents for projects, et cetera. I dont need the graphics power either, I have a desktop at home (i7-7700k, gtx 1080). Dell it is, thanks for the reply :D
Dang no thunderbolt 3 is kind of a deal breaker, especially on a laptop with so little ports.
Marcelino Puente-Perez The matebook pro x is a 13.9” with a USB A and thunderbolt 3 port. Also has 16 GB of ram. I’m not sure why this reviewer reviewed the lower specd older model.

All those things you want would increase in price and at that point better off just buying the X Pro. So why would they make this the same as the X pro?? They took somethings to make it cheaper so most of your complaints are pretty much not valid since huawei does offer solution to all those things

Spend an extra $200 and get the Huawei Matebook X Pro! It includes thunderbolt 3 and USB A ports in the computer. Also includes 16gbs of ram and a 2gb dedicated graphics card. I’ve been using mine for 6 months and love it!

I ordered the Matebook 13 with a pretty sweet preorder bonus which gives me a Huawei Mate 20 lite FOR FREE. Great display, performance and over all it feels quiet good in the hand, but I think I'm goint to return mine. The battery life is a little bit disappointing (5/6 hours if I'm cautious with my settings and with what I'm doing) and my device sadly came with pretty strong coil whine... :/
Was the mouse pad any good?

CookieStation does it randomly stop working or it’s the precision ?
@@EddieFrolic23 It's not as responsive as I like it to be. Aside from that, it's still a good touch pad. No skipping, all windows gestures and it doesn't stop randomly.

It seems to me it's a disposable laptop. I can't find any battery sold on Huawei's website (not even for the older models), and some videos show how difficult it is to replace the battery on some thin Huawei laptops (because the bottom lid is glue). I was hoping you would talk about that.

Does anyone here have this computer and if you do, can you tell me wether its quiet or not? I mean when you're just doing schoolwork, surfing the internet, streaming a movie etc? No hard work just everyday things? The laptop I have atm is killing me in terms of the noise it makes even when I'm doing the easiest things...
comparing to surface laptop 3 (which is 100% silent all the time - i havent tested it in Gaming tho) im a little bit dissapointed. It starts to get noisy and warm a few minutes after turning it on and surfing on the internet - Pages like google or instagram (not even UA-cam).

That’s really only meant for phones. Laptops are meant for productivity which is why they usually have 16;9 and 3:2 aspect ratios.
