Love the concept of breaking out different careers for different time periods of your 100-year life: Work A, Work B, Work C, etc. It makes the future that much more exciting to have "multiple careers" versus just one or two for 40 years.. Also a great opportunity to explore the best way to express yourself and provide value in a variety of ways. The increase in awareness on this topic to modern day society is definitely needed, solid content🔥

Thank you! Many people (I wish I had the stats!) unconsciously or unintentionally pursued several careers. They only realized it mid-life, when looking in the rear-mirror. These people followed their interests, intuitions, and adapted to the world and their own developmental needs. The only thing I did was reverse this and asked myself: Why not envision this from the outset?

Living in Canada B.C (British Columbia) here.. It's really hard to get a long-term career job nowadays that pays better in B.C. (Unlike Toronto, it might be a bit better than B.C. when it comes to job market).. In B.C. most employers pay minimum per hour, even for grads students that finish college such as IT jobs, Automotive, Lab Tech assistant.. Alot of people in B.C. switches job , sometimes they downgrade from a good job that pays higher but lots of stress into a basic retail job, restaurant job, etc etc that pays less and less stressful but still has a portion of work load stress and financial stress because of minimum pay... I am stuck right now in a retail environment, and all I can do is switch retail job to a different employer that hopefully has a FLEXIBLE schedule so I can go to University and study a course to get the career I want.

It's a difficult process...sometimes it can feel like you've worked a lot and it takes endless time to move forward. That sounds like a plan though, I hope it will lead to a career in which you're happy in, in the long-term!

How is it to be a professional youtuber?

It's running a one-person business. I get to decide what I want to create, when and how, and reap all the benefits-which is extremely rewarding. But I also carry the full risk. If I wake up one day and decide to do nothing for a few weeks, growth is stalled.
It turns out that this type of work fits my introverted personality. I can dive deep into topics I care about and work on my own for weeks. Occasionally, I pop out of my shell to interact with people for a sponsorship collaboration or coaching session. Let me know if I've answered your question, or if there's anything else you'd like to know! :)

What do you think about going back to school for careers that require very separate academic degrees? I want to pursue my interests in both psychology/developmental disabilities and robotics engineering separately. Does it make sense to go to grad for psychology, become a psychologist, and then later go back to school for engineering and become an engineer?

It could make sense now, but I would reassess getting the second degree, after you’ve finished the first and had some experience in that field. In general, a lot of people start in one field and later on study something very different to start a new career in a completely different area.
