Hi Vicky!!! I remember that video when you used the sewing machine!!! Ooh a thimble is a must to have!!!! Especially with the thick material on jeans and plus I broke my needle on thick material so I had to get bigger ones!!! Lololol!!! I loved how you used the measuring tape to mark when you need to sew!!! Especially using the clips!!! Good point on using the chalk!!! I loved that!!! I loved how you did this video Vicky!!! The jeans looked so good on beautiful!!!! Xoxo Pam 💖♥️♥️💖
Thank you gorgeous I'm so glad you like, hopefully this will benefit someone and the accessories do all come in handy, cause gurl a needle stick is the worst, it'll make you drop a few F bombs till the pain subsides😃 and a thimble, is a definite especially when sewing those tough materials. 😘🤗🌹
Another wonderful video by wonderful Vicky - think I've said this before but you are so diligent and competent with using the measuring tape - I find not easy as quite flimsy but you look totally professional with it round your neck as tailors do 😊 good tip re lined up seams! Very smooth hand stitching as not easy to do esp for taking in thick material - hemming down the other end is difficult enough! 😁 thank you as always for doing this and sharing - smooches 😘
Awwww thank you so much I'm so glad you like. Soft tapes are really more for tailoring, but those flexible construction tape may not be suitable if that's what you're referring to, yup it's quite easy to use, hopefully I'll do something much bigger that requires using more tape. Yes those thicker materials can be a bit challenging to stitch by hand, but it can be done as an alternative, but a machine is def the better option. smooches😘🌹
Can really appreciate the dart affect in your twirl to showcase the final product at the end - thank you for wearing a crop top (even with temperatures tumbling) so we could see the whole top of jeans to appreciate how they sit in relation to how they've been altered. Nice and snug on you without being too tight - I said temperatures are tumbling but at least your jeans won't be 🤣🤣 unless you machine dry them which in UK we say 'tumble dry' 😅 😘😘
Thank you so much I'm glad you liked the demo and yes it's only normal for me to wear a crop top to easily show off the waist of the pants. No tumble drying here... lol, but the weather is still accepting, some days a crop top is still welcomed.😉😘🌹
@@VickyJ2296 feeling a bit jelly of your weather however as you know I love wearing soft wooly snug clothes too which it isn't yet cold enough to do. One or other please 🙂 Happy Sunday my friend 🤗🥰
Happy Sunday my friend, yes the cold weather hasn't really kicked in just yet, but keep those cozy jumpers close, I'm not to thrilled about the winter, but I luv the coziness. smooches😘🌹
