As an American learning Japanese I love these types of videos, though it was a bit hard understanding the cashier with the eco and lack of a dedicated mic but never the less I loved the video thank you!
These practical videos are really good to show how to use Japanese in every day conversation. Plus I don't function without Coffee in the morning, so I'll need to visit this place next time I'm in Nagoya!
☕️Yay! Sayaka Sensei is back with another great video! 🎉 I mean, it has been a while… but anyways Thanks for posting this video! Arigatou Guzaimasu! 🇯🇵
Is it still ridiculously expensive? Thank you for speaking slowly and clearly. I understood almost the whole thing, usually it is so fast I can't keep up. Love this chanel.
Matane Sayaka-sensei, this was actually super helpful + this conversation is actually something most of the people don't normally teach due to it not being much of a thing. But you seriously cover everything, even for the people who are not in your course it's a big boost. Minasan no sapoto o hontoni arigato! (I hope I did not mess this sentence up heh.)
Wow, I can almost smell the coffee, Sayaka! This video is interesting in many ways: tourism, vocabulary, grammar, daily Japanese conversation, culture and... coffee (I'm from Brazil and I love coffee)! Thank you for bringing us closer to this Japanese experience.
THANK YOU SO MUCH🩷I’m going to Tokyo again next year spring and this time I don’t want my anxiety to win and let me miss out on coffee shops and cafés like my first time in Tokyo
I am grateful for the beautiful videos you shared, Sayaka sensei. Please, continue to share these beautiful posts. Coffee is a true culture! ☕️😋🤤🙌🏻🙏🏻🥰❤️🔥
As a coffee lover and occasional language enthusiast, I really liked this video. Please do more long form videos. Giving the lesson through a recap with the context fully clear was vastly superior from an educational standpoint. And it was nice for you to choose the second best coffee shop in Nagoya. Understandably, Cafe Ra was fully booked 😢
For me coffee is staple now my life. 💛🧸Dosiyoukana and like Ookiidesuka heard i am so glad. It feels like i became close to Japanese. Base of ♥︎Black coffee♥︎ sometimes depending on my mood i enjo-y ♣︎Cafe Latte♣︎. When i was younger i tried coffee imported from Japan it was so flavorful and my taste. Thanks for teaching.
Ha sayaka sensei finally you made a video it's so useful I learnt so many phrases thank you sayaka sensei And also please make a video about Japanese particles which are very important for basics❤❤ Japanese am I right I don't know much about that but 😊😊😊 but nice video 🥰🥰 definately If I get chance I will come to what you said that place and I will wait for your another new video

Hello🙂Sayaka.. 💘 Maybe this a dumb question, but I have to ask… are there any differences between American coffee and Japanese coffee?……. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Sayaka! 🙏 Done with work, time for some bbq now! 😋 🥳🇺🇸💚💚💚🇯🇵🥳
@@미아모레사나 Thank you for your “short” answer! 🥳 I was curious because I’ve heard a lot of people say that Vietnamese coffee is very different, but in a good way. I’ve never been to Japan or Vietnam, but I drink a lot of cold coffee and iced coffee. I want some now. 😂 “Long” reply I know! I hope you have a fantastic weekend! 🙏
@@SIDEBYSIDERACING No problem. Let me expand a bit. There are at least two aspects: The beans used and the brewing method. Most coffee consumed in Japan is imported. And you can _probably_ find your favorite beans (from the coffee belt or from China or from Hawaii or from any other place for that matter) in a local specialty shop. Most-if not all-equipment or tools are available in Japan too. Espresso machine? Of course. Siphon? Sure. Ibrik? Sure. V60? It’s from Hario (a Japanese company). Moka pot? French Press? AeroPress? Yes, yes, and yes-you can find them all. The point is, if you’re craving for a traditional Turkish or Italian or Indonesian or Vietnamese coffee or any other coffee, you can _probably_ have it in Japan. Btw, depending on how you define it, there’s really no such thing as “Japanese coffee” except maybe for the well-known “Japanese(-style) Iced Coffee” (where you do the usual pour-over but directly over ice) and the “Kyoto Cold Brew” (which uses an incredibly slow dripping method). Anyway, since you like cold/iced coffee, you’ll probably like them. If you haven’t, try making them at home. Enjoy! ☕️ I hope you have a fantastic weekend too! 🙂
@@미아모레사나 Thank you for your expanded answer! 🎉 I know some countries grow their own coffee beans, but I didn’t know that Japan mainly imports. Time for a little Saturday work and some cold coffee! 😂☕️🥳
Because of acid reflux I pretty much avoid strong black coffee most of the time, but Hojicha Latte, Matcha Latte or Chestnut Cappuccino are my usual go to options :)
Did you read Tanzania with an English enunciation? ;) It would be neat to see you do a session like this at a traditional Nagoya miso katsu restaurant. The first time I had miso katsu in Nagoya my mind was blown - a much stronger flavour than anything else I encountered in Japan.
@@NihongoDekitawhy delete my comment about racist xenophobic Japanese people who harass foreigners in Japanese coffee shops? Why you want to hide the huge racism and xenophobia in Japan? You're not truthful and honest. Maybe you're secretly racist......
I'm a little embarrassed to talk to you about coffee because I'm stuck between the illusion of coffee and the reality of tea but I'm hoping to drink Mate
I hope you can also upload the correct Japanese caption. Because if I use the “language reactor” extension on chrome, it can show both the Japanese and my own language subtitle together. So I prefer channel to have Japanese caption rather than Japanese subtitle on the screen. Is nice to have Japanese subtitle on the screen, however I can’t copy the sentence and ask chatgpt to explain the grammar.
