Nate Jacobs sings National Anthem for Orioles game

Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe Founder/Artistic Director Nate Jacobs was invited to sing the National Anthem for two Baltimore Orioles spring training home games at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Florida. The performances were virtual this year due to COVID-19. Nate's video rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner was played before the March 2 game, NY Yankees at Orioles, and the March 4 game, Boston Red Sox at Orioles. The fans loved it (smaller crowd this year for social distancing, but just as enthusiastic)! They also ran a promo for WBTT's current outdoor show, Light Up the Night, on the jumbo screen before the first pitch!
