I will be in Thailand for 4 weeks: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Koh Lanta, and Kanchanaburi. Arriving on Chiang Mai in mid-November for 9 nights with 3 nights in Chiang Rai. 😊
@@TravellingWithCon definitely click bait title. Things you MUST NOT do, is quite the opposite from things you should not miss out on. If you think you're being very smart doing this, think again. It's a shame because I found the information to be quite useful. Respectfully.
Was here in November 2024 and loved the city. Rented a bike and went up in the mountains. Visited a small village, Doi Pui and of course had a khao soi.
Thank you again ahah! To be honest I’m not too sure North of Chiang Mai because I didn’t really venture north of the city sadly. But as for Chiang Mai itself, wifi in cafés seemed pretty good to me. But my apartment wifi wasn’t the best I must say ahah 😭 but I think you’ll be fine there, a lot of remote workers live in North Thailand so it can’t be horrendously bad ahahha
I think the weather will be pretty good around that time! Probably very warm and dry. It’s only really Feb - April where the smoky season makes things bad aha
Avoid Tuk Tuk or at least don't let them over charge you, if you are unaware some of them will try to charge you 400 instead of the usual 120-150 ride (old town to Nimman)
@TravellingWithCon ive o ly bwwn here so yes lol, I hear it has the best food plus my fiance lives there haha Last trip we visited mai sot, hang dong and chaing mai. I enjoyed it.
Nice! You’ll have an amazing time! I didn’t get to either Pai or Chiang Rai unfortunately. I was considering Pai but I think it’s quite overrun with young backpackers ahahah. But still they both look like lovely places! Enjoy 🇹🇭
What a ridiculous title which made no sense when watching, thing's you must not do, it would be easier & more accurate to say do these thing's. The title just makes you sound foolish.
@@fatwallet13 ahaha I thought it was important to emphasise the things that people should NOT forget to do on their trip to Chiang Mai! All five things in the video are certainly things people should NOT do in Chiang Mai! 😅 thanks for watching!
Forgeting and avoiding is not an action. I have been living in Chiang Mai for two years. I was hoping to get some important advice from your video, but it is useless.

@TravellingWithCon do you live in Chiang Mai?
I wonder why no one else has mentioned a burning season...
Welp... looks like ill ve there during the burning season
Ohh no! In think as long as you wear a mask, hopefully it isn’t too much of a major problem 🙏
I have a question. What about the month of May? Is there still smoke?
@@shinobi_moto i think may will be fine! I think smokey season is from feb to april
@TravellingWithCon Thank you so much for the information. I will be there this year in the month of May.
