What surprised me was how well actual NASCAR did compared to the Garage 56 Camaro. I would've thought a car modified to adapt to circuit racing wouldn't wheelie like the Brazilian stock car.

The garage 56 entry had more horsepower than a real cup car so its not too far out of the realm of it getting more air than a cup car, but that still was a bit exaggerated imo

It was with the GT3 that I noticed and gained a new respect for it... and then the Brazilian Stock Car just blew the subtlety out of the water!
On the old version, was more critical. In Grand Prix Legends, I had to learn how to jump properly, in order to save enough space to brake for the next corner.
I remember I was playing GT Sport driving a Porsche 911 RSR, and I caught air at the hill and managed to drift through the entire right-hander and saved it ahahaha
You should make another "2nd fastest" video, where you include the FASTEST era of each of: - Superformula - CART/IndyCar - F2/GP2 - WEC (LMP1) - DTM - Super GT I think one of the following tracks (or do a tournament with all tracks!) would be best representative: - Road America - Suzuka - Spa - Monza - Silverstone - COTA - Sebring
Gran Turismo is very acardy, deffo not a sim. However, Group C cars thanks to just how insane they are can do Flugplatz flat out at 280-300kph in AC too, but you wouldn't be reaching 330kph by the time you get to Flugplatz anyway with a downforce configuration capable of doing it flat.

@@v8ramair145 some mods have unreal physics, like downforce. The wheelie is more likely to happen, like the one in Gran turismo movie, because of the air flow under the car caused by the big bump before the corner. Many original AC cars takeoff there
@@rohitchandran4471 G56 taking flight but NASCAR Cup not... I don't think it's necessarily the downforce, because adding downforce is one of the biggest changes they made to G56 from Cup. Unless the marginally less weight and potentially higher entry speed made a difference as well.
The Formula 1 & F2 cars has enough confidence going flugplatz without lifting the more for gr4 and stock cars you have no choice but to lift off the throttle so you'll gain a understanding of the appropriate mph is a most and stay away from opium.

It is possible to take flugplatz flat out with a gt2 car with a good setup that will not let the car bounce after the jump, you also have to take a very precise line
No way, the GT3s already struggle and the GT2s get there faster, have less downforce, have worse tyres and are heavier. These are already the optimal conditions (setup and track)
8:45 kinda surprising for me that supercar can't do it.. i mean yeah slim tyres and almost no downforce but than again it can turn through the chase at bathurst with 290+ kph and a good amount of throttle input.. so i would guess it failed because of the bumpy corner entry? Or is that turn so much tighter than the chase on mount panorama? Edit: after watching again.. it's the front wheels probably don't even touching the track anymore on corner entry due to no throttle lift..
Can you add some of the Korean Superrace series classes? They have a few like Alpine, Prius PHEV, Super 6000 and used to have GT1 and some other cool classes

You got the power wayyyyy wrong with the NASCAR car. They make 670hp at all tracks except Daytona, Talladega, and Atlanta Motor Speedway. The top speed of the Indy Car was also way off.
Not at all, American racing cars (mainly stock cars = NASCAR) are designed in a different way, the racing as a priority, no dirty air, long braking zones, tyre deg, cars hard to handle, no electronic aids... Lap times are pretty much meaningless as long as the racing is good.

What caused G56 and stock car brazil to fly in those bumps? Wondering why those 2 specifically and a few others had only mild airborne issues.
Probably lack of downforce, however there could be something else, since both Dakar and WRC cleared the corner perfectly despite low downforce
