- The seeing process is so important that, according to scientists, it makes up for 50% of human brain functionality. Unfortunately, as we age, many of us notice eyesight deterioration and hours of working with computers just worsens this problem. Many vision problems arise precisely from the act of overstraining like dry eyes, redness, headaches, and blurred vision.
Sounds familiar? Unfortunately, not all of us can afford to go offline for a break regularly. But how about start small and try ten simple exercises for your eyes? You can do them while watching the video with no fuss in under 15 minutes!

SUMMARY:
- #1. Put your elbows on the table. Close your eyes and cup them with your palms. Relax and gaze into the darkness. You can do this exercise for 30 or 60 seconds depending on how much free time you have.
- #2. Stand or sit up straight and look straight ahead. Without moving your head, look to the left and focus on what you see. Look to the right and focus on what you see. You should move your eyes from side to side at least five times.
- #3. Sit up straight and look ahead. Look up and focus on what you see. Look down. Look up and down five times and repeat the entire cycle three times.
- #4. Look straight ahead. Look down and to the left. Move your eyes diagonally and look up and to the right. Focus on what you see. You should repeat the exercise five times, then look straight ahead and do the same cycle in the other direction.
- #5. Sit up straight and relax. Look to the left and slowly roll your eyes in a circle clockwise. Do it clockwise five times and then counterclockwise five times.
- #6. This exercise helps to relax your eye muscles and increases blood circulation in your eyes. Focus your eyes on a pencil or any other nearby object. It should be 8 to 11 inches (20 to 30 cm) away from your eyes. Then look at something distant, focus on that and try to see it in detail.
- #7. Sit up straight. Look straight ahead. Gaze at the point between your eyebrows and focus on what you see for a few seconds. Then look ahead again. Gaze at the point between your eyebrows. You should change this focus five times, and repeat this cycle three times.
- #8. Sit up straight. Look straight ahead. Gaze at the tip of your nose for a few seconds. Then look ahead again. Again, you should change this focus five times and repeat the entire cycle three times.
- #9. Close your eyes. Squeeze your eyes tightly shut for two to three seconds. Relax the muscles around your eyes. Squeeze your eyes shut again. To achieve the best result, we should repeat ten times.
- #10. Close your eyes. Gently rub your eyelids with circular motions. Press lightly. You should make ten circular movements: first clockwise, then five counterclockwise.

I have seen an improvement in 20feet away seeing clock on my microwave. It gave me confidence. I started to ease the brightness after cataract procedures on both eyes. I did see an easig after a week, and it just got better. I did not receive any training from the healthcare facility I went to, so I actually found this site. I am so glad I took the initiative. I am 77 years old, and self care is aging me backwards. I do things I should have been doing. Thank you.

The more you work on focusing something that's just slightly blurry, the more your eyes start to slowly rely on themselves rather than your glasses. Also, if you can, try wearing glasses that are a bit weaker than your updated prescription because again, your eyes need a long time to start relying on themselves rather than the glasses

I love these exercises. Had Cateract surgery and these helped adjusting to brightness. Thanks.
For those who are wondering if these exercises work or not, I am not sure whether these work for all or not. But, I have been seeing some results. I have been doing these exercises for almost 6 months, not regularly but frequently.
Let me give you some details. My left eye has weak eyesight. It became worse when I kept editing my videos on mobile. I came to that point where I couldn't see a thing clearly more than 1 feet of range. But, slowly I tried to use 6th method to focus on first near things, then distant things increasing the distance. This way, I have improved my eyesight. Now, I can focus on things at the distance of 60 feet without much strain on the left eye (ofcourse! Not while wearing my glasses).
Edit: I know there are many grammatical mistakes, but I am too lazy to correct them.... So bye bye

I slept 6 days for 12 hours daily and got my eyes checked next day and my eyes only improved from 1.5 to 1.45 and I did not touch my phone or any device that damage eyesight .

Just gotta say I had my tv paused with subtitles they were just a little fuzzy and after the first exercise they werent I did all of them and I can see them easily no fuzziness I'll keep this up and make sure my eyes stay strong

I've been watching a other video on these exercises, but this video is a total work out!!!!. and I wear glasses but I've been having a hard time focusing on looking at certain things. I'm going to make this a my morning and before sleep routine.
I don't have bought of these items, but some times even when I wearing my glasses] they slip off my eyes. I'm going to the eye doctor at vision works tomorrow for my follow up].

Start: March 29,2021
Default vision: 20/70
Day 1: After trying these exercises TWICE i have definitely seen some improvement, i can see the letters 1½ feet away ( 45cm ) from the screen
Day 2: I have only tried it once today, My vision is almost to 20/50, its like in the middle of 20/70 and 20/50. After and between doing these exercises i have noticed visible change, great video!!
Day 3: I have done two alternatives of this same different formats of eye exercise and it is very consistent to amaze me on how it improves my vision. It sharpens the letters that I read on tv however it somehow makes it more blurry on bold fonts . Can't wait to finish my journey on to having a great vision!!!

I used to do them continuously almost without break for a full year, and now I do it whenever I can, yet I never saw any improvement. However, my power seemed to increase by -0.5
Am i the only one who feels very tensed until come to the solution that it is possible to improve miopia finally by exercising for 1 month, then i realized that it would work when i 'ill do it regularly , but after realising that , i got lazy and didn't do that with consistency cuz i got to know that don't worry if eyesight is getting weak

Remember that we have to treat it like any other exercise. Rest days should be taken and minor pain at the start should be considered. Also eat lots of carrots
