The meaning of this song has changed quite a bit over time for Corey. It's become a tribute/homage to Paul Grey, a member of Slipknot who died. There have been performances where he breaks down even more and can't really make it through without help from the crowd.
This has become my new favorite reaction channel. The way you understand the actual music and appreciate it no matter what it is puts a smile on my face every video. Keep being great!

X Japan - Endless Rain (The Last Live) - In my Opinion one of/the most amazing Crowd singing a song alone and absolutly heartbreaking, because it was the last live concert of the band. (And Hide (guitarist) tragedly died Month after this concert.)

He wrote it about his ex wife. It was the last song he wrote with bassist and best friend paul gray before he died.
No, it wasn't about his ex wife. It was about someone who helped him through some hard times, he developed strong feelings for her that wasn't returned and she let him down
@@Qalibrated corey must of lied in the documentary. He said he felt his ex wife wasn't there for him. He said he wasn't able to heal till they finally split. Which makes sense because he explaind it the way you wrote it but he said it was his ex wife. Regardless it doesn't matter It's a great song.

I think indefinitely as he(Corey Taylor) has hinted towards it being about his wife Scarlett. He asked her to leave him because, he is completely different now then before. He's changed for the worse for her and he feels evil. Yet he wants her light to stay in his life because its helped so far on. But he asks her to leave him and stay away. To have no contact. Yet in the part of the song with the letters to the lips. He still misses her. He misses her so much. But knows that he cannot have her back because of the choices in between them at this point. That hes almost forced her to give and leave. That being one of the most admirable things because, its impossible to let the significant other leave because it will pain yourself. He asks her to leave for her own happiness and wellbeing. Sacrificing his own stability, and pain.

Agreed. I often tune into the live streams he hosts every 2 or 3 days & been thinking about requesting it. I can do my best to make sure its on the list. The issue is that since he typically does 10-20 reactions in a given stream, plus copyright workarounds, it's going to take some time before it would be uploaded to this channel. You would have to look for it in a past stream assuming it isn't taken down soon after
