This video is super helpful because as I am getting ready to take the ham radio general exam I can now visually see the effect of a lower duty cycle on the amount of power that is actually pushed through. Basically I am able to better understand: Average power = PEP x operating duty cycle x (time transmitting/averaging period). And because I can see it that gives me a better understanding of when and why my equipment is heating up. So THANK YOU!!
Question your silent 1032 is a Function generator and and wave for generator ? It ca be use as Function generator ? Or I need to buy a function generator ? Thanks
Hi Mike, Thank you for asking. Sweep is the chaning of frequency over a range. For example the Siglent I worked on can be set to change the output frequency from 1hz-1khz.over a period of time. The burst is meant to simulate a burst of noise. So you can inject noise into a signal to see how a design circuit would perform. I hope that helps. Like Share, and Subscribe.
How is this applied, and to what? Can it be applied to sound, and how?
Thanks for taking an extra step to explain!.
