I just finished another 200 hour solas romance playthrough of inquisition today! so I'm thoroughly prepped for veilguard and I'm excited for tomorrow's trailer!
Off topic, but I think people forget that Solas said he has a plan for the false gods when they return. Stated in Tresspasser, which also tells us Solas will not be the main big bad since two of the false gods showed up.
I'm not a huge Dragon Age fan. I never played 2 because I skipped the ps3 era and hate the controls/ui on PC. I don't remember much of anything from origins, and the only comics I read were because I'm a massive fan of one of their artists (Carmen Carnero). With all of that said I have a request. I'm sure you have a lot of ideas for videos to do once you get your hands on Veilguard. I'm hoping once you get those videos completed and have thoroughly explored Veilguard, maybe you could put together a full lore recap prior to starting Veilguard. I certainly watch your current videos on the lore I forgot or never learned, but having all of what you think is relevant to watch even if it's after I've already completed Veilguard would be awesome.
Please tell me you have a "here is an overview of the Dragon stories so you can understand Veilguard" video. I was going to replay all the games but DA2 isn't working in my country right now 😢

I’m really on the fence, I don’t like how they did a mass lay off and most of old BioWare is gone. I feel like we shouldn’t all rush to buy dreadwolf, let BioWare learn that we are loyal to our devs. 😢

They went from Game Informer to IGN? Oof. Also, they will probably release the PC requirements during the pre-order offer. Wouldn't make sense to allow pre-orders for a game you're not sure if you can even play or not.

Have you played BioWare games in like last 20+ years ? How did you skipped transsexual in Inquisition, opened married gay in ME 3, bisexuals, lesbians and all the other things .. BioWare was for big part of their history modernized idea of 'woke'. Your beloved Origins had bisexual characters like Zevran. How is that not a typical 'woke' of yours .. I see nothing more questionable then what was done in past. Solas is still Solas, companions are romancable by any Rook akin to Hawke's companions, some have tendencies to be homosexual akin to Anders - again, Origins dlc here ... thus far they didn't shown any transsexual, and I doubt companion would be one of these given that they want seemingly balance on genders 3 women and 3 men. The only thing curious atm is how Neve has no leg and Bellara has some hand implant ? No idea why.

And I also don't have a problem with bi or gay charakters if there more to them just being a checkbox to pander to "modern audiences". Sometimes it's just silly shoehorned in. Like the female barkeeper in Hogwarts legacy who was voiced by a man who tried to sound like a stereotypical man who tries to sound like a woman. There are more little things with Veilguard. As I said.. no more "grim darkness". Oh.. and let's not forget that we all know that blood magic is traditionally evil in fantasy. Opposite to necromancy . Which is totally a "hero thing" ;) Oh.. never saw a trans-person in Dragon Age. Maybe because there is no "transsexuality" like irl in fantasy.
@@Varg235 In Dragon Age Origins, Wade (a male presenting character) was revealed to actually be a biologically female Desire Demon in one of the DLCs. There's a drag queen named Serendipity in Dragon Age 2. Krem is trans in Inquisition. Idk what games you've been playing, but this has been part of the game world for a while now.

Drag isn't a sexuality it's an art. And maaaany drags aren't even gay or trans ;) Krem isn't trans. She's a woman who wanted to do something that is not allowed for women and so disguised as a male. Apart from sexual orientation she might have been raised as a male or want's to be a male but that's because of the goal she has. It's like saying "I want to visit womens bathrooms so I disguise and act as a female to reach my goal". There are many stories throughout history of people who were raised as the opposite sex without being "trans". And to be honest... proclaiming somebody is trans not because that person is born this way but because that person wants to archieve a goal or was raised to be trans is not only insulting people who are actually trans.
