Just so there's no more confusion. Like I said on the video it was not our dog doing all the barking. Both our dogs were in the garden with us and not barking!!!!
I hear birds more than dogs...funny how nobody bitching about that too 🙄🙄 it’s the sounds of wildlife and the world but this day in age people find any and everything to yelp about. Nice video by the way 👍🏻👍🏻
my daughter has tried magnet fishing she loves it, i am surprised at the haters and their comments its just a hobby people get over it. so nobody has heard a dog bark before?...i love listening to you and your wife so keep up the great finds.. watching from oklahoma, usa
I know I really like these two, and their grandson they always give me, my extra smile for the day people, can be so rude. Hello 👋 from Wisconsin great day in the USA Today January 20th 👵🏼❤️🇬🇧🇺🇸
Glad you were treated with respect this time. You go out of your way to bring these items to them. Who knows what piece of a puzzle those item could solve. Thanks for the videos. :)
Love your video adventures, including Judy's giggles. A shame she isn't captured by the camera every so often. She sounds like a warm, lovely gal to be with. There's no need to fear a gun since they can't fire by themselves. As long as the barrel is pointing away from a living thing or person, there's no need for alarm. It's just an inanimate item that requires a person to interact with it, ie pulling the trigger. Also, it's always a good thing to try and clear a weapon if able to. The button to the rear of the trigger is the magazine release button. Sometimes a weapon's magazine will have a lever at its bottom end in order for it to be removed.
Yeah dont be scared when you find a gun just remember to always treat it like its loaded. Always treat any gun as a real gun whether it's a pellet gun or real. Always keep it pointed in a safe direction. Most importantly of all never put your finger on the trigger unless you are going to shoot it, in which y'alls case I would strongly advise against.
Being American, I am well versed in handling handguns. The best way to handle one is to never put your finger on the trigger and promptly remove the magazine and lock the slide to the rear, rendering it safe. Pulling the slide to the rear will eject any round from the chamber. A fine video if I may say. Thank you.
I saw him pull out two different watches at that river one with a square face and one with a round face. Where is the rolex with the round face? It was not taken out when they emptied the safe at home.
That's a mystery, They had no idea what Breitling or Diesel was or even what chronograph meant so I doubt they would have any idea about a valuable watch if 1 hit them over the head. So very much doubt they kept anything,
Great video guys. Glad you're enjoying your hobby and awesome finds. I wouldn't worry too much about negative comments from people who dont understand how the uks fire arms laws work. I would be very suprised to find anything gun related and I think you dealt with it in the best manor possible.
I have watched quite a few of these so far...yes, it's a little annoying with that dog barking, but he is just doing what dogs do,,,I really enjoy all your "bits and bobs" and manky rescues and retrievals...keep up the good work and I just want to add that Phil and Julie are my favorites to watch now...
That 2nd gun had a Smith and Wesson symbol on the handle, just so you'll know in the future. I knew it was real as soon as I saw that. I think you should have called the police and had them come to you, it was potentially deadly. Be safe Brummie buds!
I'd keep every and all bit of treasure I found. Including all money, jewelry, and weapons. If they've been ditched in the water, the crime has already been committed. What's done is done. Finders keepers. Who cares.
Me screaming..... "don't touch it, it's cocked"..."don't touch it, it's cocked"..."don't touch it, it's cocked"..."don't touch it, it's cocked" Great vid though Mrs and Mr B BTW I'll be buying a "Ooo What's That Then?" t-shirt....love it I'll wear it while mag fishing here in Ottawa Canada. Luv Ya !!
Loved this episode, and you are smart to be super careful of ANY gun you find, esp. if it's cocked. And who knows how the "tool" will react after being in the water so long. Darren's idea of a back brace is an excellent one. Having a wanky back myself I find that magnet fishing doesn't do it any favors. Please be careful, get a brace!
This dude was worth the wait, just got back from Somerset, signal kept freezing, excellent discovery guys. Keep the videos coming. Little knife is called a butterfly knife, banned in this country. 👌👍
Don't worry about the dog. Children and animals, innocent. Innocence in this world. Besides, I am sure many of them have watched videos on UA-cam, that have just music. Different strokes, for different folks. Thanks for the video. Enjoy your day friends.
you need a mesh strainer that you can just dump the safe contents into and then spray water over. that way you wont miss anything by drudging around with your gloved hand
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! WOW!! A SAFE, SOME METAL BOXES AND OPPS THE GUNS THEY USED TO ROB THE SAFES WITH!! 😂😂 I LOVE HEARING MRS. BRUMMIE, SHE GETS SO EXCITED ABOUT YOUR FINDS!! 😊 GOD BLESS!!
If you don't like stuff on here people , u have the right to hit the back button or move on, people complain so much these days, they put these videos on here for people to enjoy and if ur not enjoying it then stop wasting ur time on it, we as people have became so honorary and thin skinned anymore
That knife you found (the handle broke off). Here in the US we'd call that a butterfly knife. Somehow you flip it around to expose the blade, and reverse flip to close it. There's a technique to it. Great finds by the way, well done.
Great finds. Please be careful with those guns. You can get hurt if they go off. That big thing your magnet got stuck on that was letting oil off was probably the motor part of that car you keep pulling out but by bit 😄
Great finds. Nice reaction by the police. Anyone would think a memo has gone round 'to be appreciative towards all magnet fishers as they bring us guns and knives'. I would not have taken the cocked gun from the site. Call the police so they can remove and make safe as you dont want a gun that may have been in the canal for some time to accidently fire if you go over a speed hump. Please keep us updated on what the police tell you. Cheers
I’d suggest going to your local gun club and learning how to make a gun safe, even if you don’t like them it is better to know especially if your doing magnet fishing, knowledge never hurt anyone even if your against firearms, keep it safe guys 👍
I think I would make up a small magnet to fish around in the bottom of the muck inside containers. You take a chance of a "poke" or a serious cut, fishing with your fingers! Cool finds!
I would never be able to magnet fish there because I don't believe in laws banning guns and almost all of them are garbage now but I have seen a few I couldn't hand over to be destroyed and not restore it. But you still find a lot of great stuff. Great video and happy hunting. Just a tip so safety is not a problem you should look up how to eject the magazine from the pistols and then check the chamber so there is no chance of a accidental discharge. That seriously could have easily happened to you.
I've missed watching you all. Some I have been too busy, some to ill, some youtube hid everyone I watch from me.. They keep pushing their youtube movie channel at me only.. very irritating... I really enjoyed your video.. You all really stumble across some interesting finds. Glad you take all guns to police stations.. I would too!
Both were pellet guns. The leather like case had a chronograph in it at one time. It's for measuring the speed of a projectile. You use them to test the velocity your pellet guns shoot. Or it's the watch manufacturer of the watches you found.
F*ck the haters! Keep doing what you are doing, love watching your videos. Live in Birmingham myself so it's interesting to see. You both never fail to make me laugh😊
Great video! I have seen every one 👍 The logo on the real gun is for Smith & Wesson. They also produce knives and stamp the logo in the handle. 😃 keep up the great work
If I found guns I'd be calling Old Bill to the scene as transporting them around town is not a good idea. You could always lower the safe back in the canal with the guns inside and make arrangements with the police to recover it again. Stay safe. We want to see lots more vids.
They were definitely two pellet guns the trick is to look for the slide mechanism. She Sig you could see had a slit about a third of the way up the slide. If you look on the LH side of the Sig the lever by the trigger would only have sprung the slide forward exposing the pellet gun chamber. CO2 pistols.
webley nemisis pellet pistol, on left hand side of the grip theres a small button behind the trigger nearly on the grip press it in the magazine will come out the bottom of the grip base take a hold and pull it out if its a bullet you will see them in the magazine, if a pellet gun it a different shape no open hole intop bullet lenght or shape ? that may come in handy in future, 4.5mm is a 0.177 cal sized ,5.5mm is a 0.22 cal.
Hey Brummies, Hello from Montana USA. How do the police react to you turning in the guns? Why don't you make a sifter to dip into the canal, to rinse off your finds, before you take them home and stink up your lovely garden? Love your channel!
Another great video Phil, with some amazing finds, I have not read any comments yet so may be repeating what's already been said, Webley as far as I'm aware are decent airpistol makers, I must admit that I was a little worried when you pulled the second gun out and immediately saw the hammer drawn back, was shout g out put the damn thing down 😂🤣😂🤣, I'm pretty sure that the second is also an air pistol 4.5mm is what we used to call 1.77 back in the day. Shame the rolex and breitling watch boxes were empty, rolexes are nice but I love I nice breitling aviator watch. Shame the butterfly knife broke aswel. Keep up the good work guys, and well done for getting it all to the police station. shame there were no manky poles in todays video though. 😂🤣
Ok so I did watch the end of the video I'm glad you guys are ok and I figured the first was a bb gun,I knew the second was real. You did the proper thing by turning everything in as it was stolen, and you stated their we're credit cards with names on them as well found in the safe. Sry! I jump and answer before I finish watching videos sometimes ..I'm glad all is ok..I WAS ALWAYS TAUGHT HANDKE A GUN WITH CARE AND RESPECT..ALWAYS ASSUME IT IS REAL AND LOADED..please...luv ya in PITTSBURGH PA.UD.Lori blessed be..
Ive been watching a lot of these magnet fishing the waterways. These are historical dumping grounds for “STUFF”> Just ordered my magnet and cant wait to fish my area.
When it’s cocked back you hold hammer back tight with thumb pull trigger and bring your thumb slowly forward with trigger and that decocks the hammer of a gun if you in the woods with nobody around point at ground shoot it or practice or push button to release magazine rack the slide to eject shell with no mag in gun then you can dry fire the hammer forward look it up on UA-cam
Next potentially live weapon that is cocked? Tie a length of cotton rope, 1cm thick, between hammer and the firearm just back of the trigger guard. This will prevent the hammer from falling onto the firing pin. Safety is your #1 priority when handling firearms.
Always look forward to these videos. Glad the police were nicer to you this time. The cocked gun was very scary, I kept hoping it was too mucky to go off. Glad you are safe.."safe"...😃 Looking forward to your future videos. BTW...any possibility some where near you there is a pub named "The Manky Bar"? If so wear your shirt and take video or photo...🤣 or maybe some one will open one somewhere some day😉...either way seems like an awesome name for a pub 😄 Now I want a t-shirt with "The MANKY Bar, 🚲 🛒 Outdoors Brummbies Style 🛒🚲" enjoy your fishing!
Breitling is a Swiss watch manufacturer commonly makes ChromaGraph watches for telling the time between two points which also has a conversion chart of how fast you are going ... The thing you thought was a bong looks like a crack pipe made from a bullets cartridge . The knife is illegal in the UK it’s called a butterfly knife .
Hello Brummies, your finds were quite different in one aspect plastic different sizes with awful muck. I’m not sure how you handle the smell. I guessed that the one that was larger more than likely was an air gun. My grandson used to have one. They can hurt someone or animals. He no longer has it by his own decision. The other cocked gun looked to be a Smith and Wesson. There is a lot of hunting here so many have pistols/ revolvers as well as rifles. Not my cup of tea. You handled in filming your fishing and going to police station to turn over your finds about the guns. Great videos as others agree as well. God Bless.
The first air pistol is a Webley Nemesis .22 the second is a RWS Mod. C225 .177. Both of which are legal without a licence as they are under 6 ft lb of force, both are approx. 2.8 ft lb.
I’m guessing you’re either an American or live in some other free country where not only the criminals are allowed to have firearms but WE THE PEOPLE are also.
The large piece of metal with the grooves looks like weighing scales you get the ponds but you have to move a weigh along the arm until it balances which then shows you the ounces. Not a very good explanation but I hope you know what I mean.
The next time you contact the police about a found gun, ask them ( the experts ) what is the best AND SAFEST way to deal with the weapon until they arrive.
Good luck trying to explain that to the general public, I found a Glock 40,1911 fully loaded, hollow points, on the steps of one of my properties, inside of a leather shaving bag kit, . I'll call 911,and the dispatcher, a girl says. check the gun real good, is likely a pellet gun, listening to her stupid ignorant response lowered👎 my credit score, hence I called her a retarded b*tch, it was freezing cold below zero, and they're I'm trying to do the right thing, Jesus Christ.
If I ever found a gun of any kind in working condition or not, the last thing in the world Id do is make a video and post it. And if its rusted shut from years under water, whats the point in giving it to the cops to destroy even more. Its a souvenir that once was a gun.
Just so there's no more confusion. Like I said on the video it was not our dog doing all the barking. Both our dogs were in the garden with us and not barking!!!!
Can I have the pipe that's made from bullet shells please 🙏🙏🙏
@@herbalisthighlife3535 it was handed in to the police with the guns

The large piece of metal with the grooves looks like weighing scales you get the ponds but you have to move a weigh along the arm until it balances which then shows you the ounces. Not a very good explanation but I hope you know what
I mean.
Good interesting vid. Also nice to have a change up of the usual format.

The next time you contact the police about a found gun, ask them ( the experts ) what is the best AND SAFEST way to deal with the weapon until they arrive.
Simply point the gun down and pull the slide back. That will eject any shell in the barrel. Guns are just a tool.
