I just found your family on You Tube and I like that you got you got your grandson out of the house!! You have inspired me to buy a couple of magnets for when my granddaughters come to visit! Thanks
Thank you SO much for pulling all that rubbish out of the water! You are environmentalists, through and through! Have fun, and keep the vids coming! I enjoy them so much! Tell "J" that I say hello from Minnesota USA!
13:28 That is a fridge compressor unit for the freon gas. The survival knife with that long bolt at the back out you should be able to gently pry the handle off and where the bolt broke off inside just tap a new hole with new bolt and all fixed. I would take a dremel tools with various attachments ie wire brushes and sand discs and clean up the blade and restore the knife. Would love to find something like that here in Kenya. As I am semi retired would be a nice hobby. Don't think there's much in the rivers and lakes here. Didn't see an update on the ring. All the best. Cheers
I agree with the comment below, I hope that any plastic you see in the canals is removed and disposed of properly, great videos thanks again for the entertainment.
It always surprises me when the thieves go through the safe door, it's already out of the wall or whatever and it's so much easier to grind a hole in the backside than go through the heavy door. Great video again!
I agree, the item at 24:40 is a compressor from a refrigerator. The item at 25:00 appears to be a control for an outboard motor for a boat. It's missing a lot of parts if it is. I also agree that you should probably remove any floating plastic, bottles, even those pieces of fabric, just to keep the canals cleaner. They can be tossed in the tip easily enough. A long handled dip net, such as used at a swimming pool would work. Ian
It really is great that you remove the metal from the canal but please, please take any plastic that is within reach too! Even just the 2 bottles at the beginning and the black bags would have made a difference to the water life. You need to buy Mrs Brummy a grabber.
@@alparims8734 Not really a great excuse to not do a small part to save the planet sealife from plastic. It was directly next to them and they were already pulling out trash.
@@alparims8734 Did not need any tools to have picked up those bottles that were an inch away from his hand. Don't understand why you are making such an issue out of a suggestion to removing a little plastic that was right in front of them from the water ways when they are there already removing rubbish.
They already remove so much trash from the water. Kudos to them!! Perhaps you could purchase a grabber and devote some of your time cleaning the canals. Just saying!
USA HERE: Mrs Brummie I am not sure if that is how your name is spelled but I just wanted to tell you, you do get a lot more exercise than the men do. I think they should fix you dinner when you get home just for having to run around all the time to show their finds.
Hope you all go back to that spot soon and do another video . Quite positive those safes are down there that you found the doors from . Maybe even a large coin spill from that large safe 😁 Thanks for the videos ! ❤️ from Mississippi U.S.A.
The box you found is "fire safe box", it is meant to keep valuable documents and other things safe. They lie about the actual fire rating s lot.` Glad to see all 3 together again on video.
Certainly plenty of interesting finds in that area of the canal, the cash box you found at the Beginning looks in quite good nick, could be cleaned out & used for something, the knife was good find as well that that ratchet item near the end looked like a window winding mechanism for a car, and also that roadworks sign you found was in quite good nick there's actually few groups on Facebook for people that collect that sort of thing, like road works equipment lights, and things, stick it on eBay! Yes the item at 13 minutes is definitely a fridge compressor that should be recycled properly, because it's probably got some sort of freon or gas in it. good vid guys keep it up,
13:27 air compressor 25:50 these are part of an industrial drill set for cutting round holes in wood. these are how u get such round holes on wood doors for door handle installation or holes in cielings for basic light bulbs
Hi there, I've been following your you tube channel, I was wondering what do you do with all the rubbish items cheers your videos are quite entertaining, thanks .
Which canals do you magnet fish on? your doing a good job of clearing them, may be you can fish the plastic out with net while you are out and about to help the wild life .plus boats can catch bags, wires and other things in their props which damage them, we have had bin bags and cloth round ours when we passed through brum last time. keep the videos coming 🙂
Hello mate how do you go about magnet fishing do you have to ask for permission or any think and is it against the law could you please tell me I wanna start it up
Okay so if anyone knows number one was a refrigerator compressor number two was the yolk from a television set was right on the picture tube and number three what's the gas tank from a Vespa scooter or moped
This is actually a navigable canal, The city of birmingham is said to have more canals than Venice and Amsterdam, some dating back to the late 1700's. These are manmade waterways created for moving bulk goods such as coal and iron ore. These were the forerunner of the railway as we know it.
I think it is just as important to have both parents (grandparents) involved. If Julie likes going then she should be there. IMHO she makes the videos! She have excellent commentary and her laugh threw-out just keeps a smile on my face. She is awesome!!
@@JoelHershberger thank you for sticking up for me I love being out with my grandson and he loves being out with us he thinks we,re cool grandparents thanks again.

How much metal do you recycle ? It is amazing how much stuff there is at the bottom of even a small stretch of canal
Keep it up guys love these videos!!
Always wonder if those strong boxes were from a robbery?

16:37 looks like the back end of a picture tube. The electron gun. ????
The motor piece appears to be a condenser off the bottom of a refrigerator.

He is their grandson.
Yes he is their Grandson, and please don't insult Mrs Brummy, she obviously enjoys the time as much as the others.
Why should i
