Bizar, Springbank in plenty available in Belgium, but it costs between 55 and 60 €.

Ah, then you are very lucky - I have never seen it available on the shelf in a whisky shop here in the UK with the exception of nearby the distillery or as a premium private sale. Cheers!

I have various batches of Campbeltown Loch of the past years. Be aware that it is a blended malt of different distilleries which results in very different batches. Some are like different whiskies which isn't reflected on the label. All worth trying out, all good (especially for the price), some really good and I quickly bought some more bottles.
Not sure if I would compare it to SB10. I like CL as is and SB10 as is. Not the same but why should it be.

You're absolutely right - the comparison was for the purposes of helping people determine wether they should pursue difficult to buy bottles like the SB10 with something that theoretically should hold some similarities. Entirely different bottles, but there is just a bit of underlying Springbank in there people can dial in to. Cheers!

You won't be disappointed. This is a cracking dram. The Thompson bros srv5 is probably the only blended malt that's on a par if not better than this one.

@@HawkerPaul interestingly I’ve just reviewed another blend that, whilst may not be “better” is certainly up there. You’ll have to wait and see 😉

@@HawkerPaul Thomson Bros are great, but not had the SRV5 yet, got one of theirs coming up at some point! Should point the one I’m referring to will be a week on Sunday - this Sundays is a blend but is American and not what I’m talking about now 😅
