- Even after 30+ years of fighting these bees it's hard to stay calm in the face of Satan's Bees! This removal went on like this for two hours! Mean mean mean. Don't click yer heels Dorothy, We're already in Kansas (Settlement)! Let me know what you think of these bees! www.killerbeeguy.com
Dad used to say "they're more afraid of you than you are of them."
My ass.
Exactly!
Not everyone has a great father. FACT
Haha…. I tell my 12 year old granddaughter that too. It’s what I’ve always heard from my daddy. 😂
@@thesun-N-moon8885 That is another way to curse your generational line.

Damn, that’s a hot hive. My Italian bees can get a little angry near the end of the summer, but I’ve never seen bees get that aggressive.
Be careful!
@@KillerBeeGuy You dont use vibration tools around bees. The lawn mower will make them crazy.
Craziness to me is they’re wearing suits and still getting Stung
These bees are horrible!
Your ability to stick it out in the face of such *overwhelming* aggression coming from all angles is incredibly admirable! I don’t think I’d be able to overcome my impulse to RUN, even if I were in a bee suit! Also all the risks of stings while in bee suits just makes me wish someone could develop specialized reinforced/secured bee suits for killer bees… a way to secure the hood so it can’t slide back and expose noses/ears, etc… I wish I was an inventor!
Anyway thanks for doing this work, these bees are genuinely terrifying.
Thank you!!
These killer bees. Their's no reasoning with them
There really isn't. They are sooo defensive!
Love seeing these angry bees come face to face with the ultimate predator! Watching them helplessly sting and buzz around while their invasive home is destroyed and their reign of terror ends is so enjoyable
That is awesome! Thank you! And I agree...
What's insane is there is a channel of a bee removal lady that never ever wears bee suits when she does any removal. That's insanity!
We believe that is all staged.
@@KillerBeeGuyI don't. How could it be staged? Are they telling the bees to be calm for the camera?
But those bees that she deals with aren't the Africanized killer bees.
JEEZ! Those killer bees are living up to their namesake! So aggressive and protective of the hive. Maybe invest in more protective suits? You two are total badasses and brave. Great video btw. 👍🏾
Thank you! These are the best suits made!
We had 2 hives when I was a kid, one of them was pretty chill and the other one was just like the bees in your video. The minute you got within 15 feet of the hive it was go time and they weren't quitting until the party was over.
Where was this? And how long ago?
Mid 1970s, in Oklahoma. I was 12. The one hive nearly killed our dog the day we set it up and took the mesh off the hive entrance, they came swarming out and instead of running she started rolling in the grass and got stung god knows how many times. She was on veterinarian drugs for a week and she puked up several dead bees over the next few days.
Oh my! Horrible experience.
The Texas Bee Works lady always says, "these are some friendly bees" and I never understood how she could tell if they were friendly bees. Well. Now I know. These bees are pissed! Could see several of them at the beginning, coming out of the hive towards yall like a shot gun blast! This was nuts to watch.
Check out 'Dragoon Baptist Bees'!
Would a vacuum that had some sort of bee mincer built in be an effective way to reduce the numbers and make the removal easier?
Nope. These bees avoid the suction.
They are really pissed off bees….does smoke help calm them down or are they just mean? Do you collect the honey? Is it like any other honey? Do you sell it? How to you protect the surrounding areas from the swarm? I’m amazed at this! Will the swarm move to another area?
Welcome to the hive!! All those and more questions are answered in our other vids. Too much to type here!
Dang those things are aggressive. These guys take no prisoners! I watch The Bee Lady, and she's so gentle with the honeybees, like she's just a good friend coming over to visit.
Acting is acting. No acting here.
@@KillerBeeGuy I never accused you of acting. I am in awe that you are tackling killer bees. I was just commenting that the Bee Lady only deals with docile domesticated honey bees. Y'all are on the front lines of battle!
ugg i hate the feeling of sticky. Can't imagine having honey all over me.
Thank goodness it's water soluble!
The other guy does not get stung because he does not use Gods name as a cuss word
Oh so THAT'S the reason. I was wondering why!
What's to keep them from building back or hanging around that home afyer you remove the nest? I know everyone needs to kerep house sprayed but I am talking about immediately.
The remnant bees will die off over the coming days.
I use these videos to combat my insane phobia. Because that buzzing sound scares the absolute SHIT out of me...
Much worse in person!
See I have a phobia of wasps. Bees don't scare me but I'm sure these ones would. But when I say wasps and hornets are my all time biggest fear in the planet, that is an understatement by a long shot!!! But check out honey bees like on a documentary or something. They are super interesting and very vital. It may help combat the fear a little more when it comes to bees.
What does that spray do? Is it pheromones that are supposed to help calm the bees? As a hypothetical (this is just curiosity, am in no way implying how to do a job), would it be easier/ safer to just plug up the entry point to a small funnel, then hit it with a bee vacuum for a while to get the numbers down? Or, like when they were pouring out of that drill hole, push up some dry ice pellets and suffocate the little b@stards? I dunno why, but the dry ice idea really excited the sciency nerd part of my soul. Once again, I realize I'm not the professional, here. I'm just curious if something like that has been tried or is in any way practical.
It's a non toxic spray adhesive.
Omg...look at all of them. How do you get rid of that many? I'd have a sailors mouth to! That buzzing is so loud. Do any get away to make another colony? Where do they go? Would the Japanese killer hornets kill all those bees?
Welcome to the hive! Please check out some of our other vids as all is explained!
I keep hearing this garbage about mites and everything else that's killing bees but doesn't seem to be affecting these little evil bastards at all.
These bees are so disease resistant pretty much nothing affects them!
@@KillerBeeGuyyou’d think, to save the non Africanized bees here in the US, they’d finish the work that was started years ago by hybridizing them and manipulating their dna to have their immunity to disease and pests but avoid the aggretion of the African bees!!!
but I can already hear it now, so many people would be bitching against it.
But hey, if it could be done responsibly and kept confined for enough time to run many generations and check for problems that may arise without prematurely letting any bees loose, it might be a solution!
I'm assuming these bees are not relocated because they're dangerous Africanized bees... I'm curious as to why someone isn't there immediately spraying water with dishwashing liquid? I'm thinking like a pressure washer that sprays the dishwashing solution to start eliminating the hive from the onset.
We used to use that but got way too many complaints about the mess. Honeybees are an invasive species to the Western Hemisphere. We kill invasive species.
I know you guys get one of those industrial sprayers that you hook to a leaf blower in shooting with soapy water?
We used to use that but got WAY too many complaints about the mess.
Does dish soapy water help knock them down or is that a myth?
It works and I used to use it but got way too many complaints about the mess.

Too bad a type of suit couldn’t be made that runs a low current of electricity on the outside that would prevent any bees from landing on you at all!!!
You can tell the difference in sound they make when they are pissed and looking to kill vs normal flight.. how do you exterminate them and why do these homeowners at the first sight of bees not call you? Do you charge per hive

The honey bees here are docile and do not attack, but I still dont like them near me. Flying insects that sting , uh-uh!
When August/September hits, I'm indoors. Barbecues begin in May and are finished by the end of June.

Wow. A lot of time over target. Too much. Plan attack ahead. In and out. Best time of day? Couldn't smoke them calm?
Should have pried off the vertical facing board first to expose the framing. Then attack bay by bay between vertical framing.
Good points and questions! When they attack without provocation there is no way to 'plan' the attack. In fact I have done around 1200 of this types of removal of my 30+ years so I know the construction etc. It's the bees behavior that is the variable. As to time of day. We are so busy it is a mute subject. We go when called. It would be like asking a Fire Fighter why he doesn't only go at a certain time of day to put out a fire!. These bees don't care about smoke. Removing certain pieces of wood as opposed to others is not the first thing on my mind when under such a life threatening situation. More coming!! Thanks for the great input Steven!

I'm in southwestern KY
That could be! They certainly do get angrier than any other bee I've seen! BTW these Killer Bees are in all of the lower 48 now!
Well the reason why we have the Africanized hybrid all over the United States is because the bee breeders are all down south and they're not artificially inseminating their bees which means they're open-air breeding which means any drones that are available will mate with the Queen's tend to be faster than ours and that's how the hybridization starts each generation of bees after that he comes progressively more hybridized
