20:16 is just downright scary! Like the use of the clamp to spray the glue. You need to round disk out of 2x12 then make a slot for the end of the clamp to slip into. It will let you set it up and walk away.
Is there anything that the general public should be aware of to avoid encounters with these or is it just something you have to hope you never deal with? This was the first time I’ve ever heard that they’ve entered into Canada as I thought it was too cold for them up here but I suppose some of the more temperate areas would work (I’m pretty surprised they’ve been found in Alberta). Our family is doing a road trip down to Texas in the spring so this is something I want to make sure we’re mindful of and wondered if there are precautions we should take to avoid setting off a random hive when we’re exploring. Thanks for the hard work you’re doing!
Welcome to the hive! It's like anything else really. Just be aware of your surroundings! The problem folks have with these bees is that they are honeybees and people just LOVE honeybees. Well now that hive you walked by could be deadly. Things have changed.
If you guys made signs you could pop them up to say stay away. Also does AZ have a reverse 911 they can do? Say something like a 1 mile radius to send calls/texts out to stay inside and avoid the area? Just found your channel today and totally hooked! Keep up the good work and thank you for protecting everyone.

It just amazes me that there are still people whom don't realize just how huge and dangerous these colonies can be. I lived in the western Texas Desert for a few years and had run in's with 2 separate hives and was outside when a colony was migrating. I know this is an older video, but why don’t you try using soapy water in a spray bottle? Like the sprayer they use to spray weeds or even the ones that the exterminators use? It sprays a fine mist of soapy water and it works to kill them immediately. You can even salvage the wax from the nest that way because you’re not using poison. I know it wouldn’t work for spraying yourself, but it actually work really well and quickly.
You guys are brilliant 👏 came across you after watching wasp removals on here so I'm sticking like honey to you😊 I'm not on Tik Tok so UA-cam it is , I love your humour 😂
Do you guys have a cell phone signal booster on your truck? I bought one for my house and it more than doubled my signal strength. I have seen them advertised for off roaders.
I have a shipping container, i've noticed when i escape a hive when i do something stupid, i run in the shipping container, and the darkness (lack of direct sun, literally stops them at the door. they do not enter beyond the outwung doors. These things are wild.
I'm an hour into this video and you were earlier walking around to try to locate the hive and look for anyone who may be laying on the ground....With it as hot as it is, (without your cooling suits) I'm thinking this would be an ideal scenario to let a drone do the scouting for you. Would be a lot faster and easier to 'buzz around' (PUN intended!) - and scout for people in the proximity of this battle zone! Another idea is to custom wrap your drone to look like a killer bee with your logo on it, lol! Just my $.02. Also, I just found your channel and I have a cousin who is an ER nurse there at the hospital in Bisbee and I just sent him a message about your video and asked him about what experiences he's had with bee sting victims there. I'm in Iowa and my wife and I enjoy grilling out in the summer and we noticed - especially these past few weeks after autumn arrived, the bees were seemingly a lot more aggressive around our table. I killed many but we never had a swarm. Thankfully I wasn't stung as I am allergic to them and I do have a couple epi-pens on standby if needed. New subscriber. Thank you for your important work and Awesome Job doing what you do!
Wow! Who is your cousin? It's a small town... We actually have a drone but it's an older one that takes 20 minutes to orient and get going. Pro tip from an ex endurance athlete: ALWAYS have electrolyte sports drink. Heat exhaustion gets worse if you drink straight water, because it dilutes the precious few electrolytes you haven’t sweat out already.
You don't need expensive sports drinks, too damn expensive when you work outside in summer everyday, on real hot days a I can easily go through anything from 4-6 litres a day to keep your pee looking a healthy colour. A cheap way of doing it is to put a pinch of Lo-salt in your water - 50% sodium chloride, 50% potassium chloride so it keeps your sodium and potassium levels up. Also found your body actually retains the water rather than peeing it straight out which happens if you drink lots of plane water on a hot day. Doesn't taste the best when it's warm, but it's fine when it's ice cold.
How far North into the state will y'all travel , lets say i find a large colony on my property way up in Cada Grande in betwixt Tucson and Phoenix would y'all come up and take care of them and how much will you charge
At H.E.B. they sell the Artic Air neck fan for $30 bucks, and believe it or not it really freaking helps and it does drown out some if the buzzing in your ears. Its rechargeable and lasts for hours.

I'm it! There are no classes etc. This is still the wild west...
@@KillerBeeGuy ...should I call u for an appt?
I know this is an older video, but why don’t you try using soapy water in a spray bottle? Like the sprayer they use to spray weeds or even the ones that the exterminators use? It sprays a fine mist of soapy water and it works to kill them immediately. You can even salvage the wax from the nest that way because you’re not using poison. I know it wouldn’t work for spraying yourself, but it actually work really well and quickly.
It works great and I used to use it but got WAY too many complaints about the mess!
Those are some nasty bees. That is a living nightmare with wings.
Right!? Horrible.
When I watch your videos I feel like I did when was a kid and saw Frankenstein and Dracula for the first time. WOW MAN!!!
That is the best compliment ever! I guess that's kinda how I feel in the beesuit! Like a kid!
You guys are brilliant 👏 came across you after watching wasp removals on here so I'm sticking like honey to you😊
I'm not on Tik Tok so UA-cam it is , I love your humour 😂
Welcome aboard! Lots of info and irreverence and adventure to beeee found here!
Thank you I'll be joining Thursday , do you sell to England 🐝
Yes! You can check it out at www.killerbeeguy.com
"Dammit, I keep getting caught up in that thing". I feel you good sir!
Keep fighting the fight!
Damned thing!
You guys do awesome work.
Thank you!
I dont want to go outside anymore
Just keep your eyes open!
Man you really scared me when you got overheated but you were still talking crazy so I knew you were okay!😂
The heat is almost as bad as the bees for me!
Holy shit !! What would they do without you guys .
That was a bad one!
May the force 🐝 with you.
Ha! I'll take it!
Wow didn’t know the background about killer bees, very interesting thank you for sharing
They are so weird!
Do you guys have a cell phone signal booster on your truck? I bought one for my house and it more than doubled my signal strength. I have seen them advertised for off roaders.
I'm looking into one.
A military type flame thrower would come in real handy against those demons!
Hold my beer...
There just honey bees!!! Haha my favorite part
Yes! Just Africanized honeybees!
You could rent that 5th wheel out as an Air bee and bee.
Ha! That's with honey on tap!
I think I would have set fire to that thing, great job you guys, keep up the good work.
Thanks 👍
So that you can have angry flaming bees that can fly fatther to get away from the fire and set other things on fire? Yeah no.
I would have sealed the top and set it all on fire.
No fires allowed here in the desert.
What do you recommend as far as a spray to get rid of those bees
20:16, there it is.
I have a shipping container, i've noticed when i escape a hive when i do something stupid, i run in the shipping container, and the darkness (lack of direct sun, literally stops them at the door. they do not enter beyond the outwung doors. These things are wild.
Good lord! Where are they coming from?
I stepped on a wasp and it hurt like hell. Stinger killer bees will hurt you bad
At least with a wasp it's usually only ONE sting!
here in wa and bc, during the forest fires, they found millions of the jappinese jumbo bee's. from Oregon up thru bc
I've heard you have them there!
I wonder if they make new ones that are easier to get going? Check out 'Drone VS Killer Bees' here on YT. It's an older vid we used it on. Damn good vid if I may say so... I'm glad you are enjoying the vids!
@@KillerBeeGuy Dave Dunley. And I personally have a Mavic Mini. It only takes a minute to orient and get flying and has great resolution and a 2 mile range!!! FYI
Auto return? How about avoidance system? Do you have to spin around in circles to orient? 2 miles! Sounds awesome.
this is only the 2nd vid of yours iv seen and i really hope guys are getting paid atb least 6 figures because its deserved and more , that shit is a clusterfuck from hell. all props 2 you for everything u do
Hey Paul! Welcome to the hive! Thank you sooo much. Some folks don't realize just how dangerous these bees are!
Great programme guys, stay safe 👍
Thank you!
Seeing that hat on the ground, the door open, and then the car seat. I was terrified. Just thinking a father, grabbing his daughter and running away.
Scared the hell pout of me.
Glad I passed on moving to Arizona 20 years ago (or anywhere else out West).
These bees are in all of the lower 48 now.
I didn't think honey bee's were so aggressive,,wow,,stay safe,,still wondering about the truck with the baby seat? My mistake are they actually killer bees? Crazy,,just subscribed, have to watch,,so interesting!! Also joined
Hey Kim! Thank you! Yes they are Africanized or Killer honeybees. The 3 folks that were in the truck got stung up but are going to be OK.
Do you keep and melt the wax ?
Not any more. The cost of beeswax has gone down so much it's not worth it.
Just watching this has me swatting away imaginary bees. I’m so familiar with the buzzing sound.
You are welcome!
Pro tip from an ex endurance athlete: ALWAYS have electrolyte sports drink. Heat exhaustion gets worse if you drink straight water, because it dilutes the precious few electrolytes you haven’t sweat out already.
That heat is a killer!
We are so busy down here. Possibly in the winter when it's supposed to slow down. Do you have a hive?
@@KillerBeeGuy no I was just curious at if we was to get some of those bee how far north do youtravel
Wow! You guys are awesome! Can’t imagine so many bee’s attacking you guys! 😮
Usually on a daily basis!
At H.E.B. they sell the Artic Air neck fan for $30 bucks, and believe it or not it really freaking helps and it does drown out some if the buzzing in your ears. Its rechargeable and lasts for hours.
I've seen those. Honestly the cooling vests that Don Sharr got us are amazing. Maybe one of those neck things would help too!
You guys are some brave SOBs! And I mean that in a very respectful way.
Thank you Nicholas!
if it was that easy every one would be doing it. badass Reed Badass.
Thank you Matt!
How did it all resolve?
Was the trailer burned or something like that?
After the remnant bees died off I think the trailer went away. Not sure what happened to it!
And in Ontario guys
Right Jim!
I remember when i lived in Peoria AZ and we had a neighbor who had them! Those bees agression is very under estimated
Hey Richard! You are soooo right!
