- This is my second song off of TMOM, and let me tell you: it only gets harder. The subtleties and grooves are not easy to pull off while maintaining flow and that thumbdown in the middle... well... damn. My feet speed is the weakest part of my drumming for shure, so this was quite a challenge! Drum solo was a bitch to learn and play, but I feel like I played it at the best I could. Conclusion: Matt is insane!
I'm not done with this album yet, so stay tuned for more Madness of Matt! Also, this is drumless track I got for buying his lesson pack, so all the drums you hear are mine :)

I love how you pulled off the exact studio version solo, but I liked for Dirty D's face during the breakdown.

Hey man! So it's a Pearl Sensitone Custom Alloy Steel snare and I actually cranked both heads up. I do have a muffling ring on it though... And the hihat is a Meinl Byzance Vintage Pure hat, brand new! They sound even better in person!

No, left will always be my natural and most comfortable side, but I just taught myself playing right-handed so that's not a problem anymore, but left still feels more natural and comfortable.
