Thank you for showing a great example of how to use an arbor, highlighting an entrance, creating a sense of intrigue and defining a garden room, something that can only be done with an arbor when there is a fence or wall blocking other access to the area. (Can you tell I’m not a fan of free-floating arbors?)

Beautiful design and gorgeous selection of plants. I planted 3 indigo frost agapanthus, last spring, in a container (zone 7b, Maryland). I overwintered them in my garage and they are doing beautifully.

Greeting's from Ireland, great video and beautiful garden, We have to wait another month before our agapanthus's start to bloom But the buds are showing which is great. I love sage caradona and have a few in different flower bed's and the bee's love them. There's noting like a cup of coffee first thing in the morning and hearing the bee's buzzing about.

Last year I added the same agapanthus to my garden, 8a Atlanta, in pots and it returned and is starting to bloom again this year; it bloomed until frost!
What a fabulous redesign of your garden! I loved the look you previously had but THIS is stunning. And with the explanations you shared for why you wanted/needed a change, it makes total sense. I love blue flowers, too (they were my sweet Momma’s favorite) and I am afraid I am becoming obsessed with Agapanthus; I have six varieties, the newest acquisition being Indigo Frost with Black Pantha enroute to me at this moment! I’m in zone 6b/7a and I have gladiolus, elephant ears and cannas that survive my central KY winters so I’m going to take a chance on the Agapanthus coming back, too. 🤞🏻💙🤍💜🤞🏻

Thank you very much! No it’s isn’t a dwarf hosta. They are over 50 years old and a small division from my parents garden. Just small now because they are newly planted. Once they age they will get bigger. 😃

Spent the day mowing the lawn and helping tear down a fence that fell over in a wind storm. I was injured a month and a half ago and I think I overdid it but it was worth it. I’m so far behind with planting that I feel like I’m constantly playing catch up.

Looking good! You could try wintering the agapanthus in your greenhouse in pots. They are such beautiful plants. I love those white zinnia also. Well worth growing those from seed.

I love agapanthus, I ordered some bare root white agapanthus that is suppose to be hardy in my zone 6 garden. Your garden is looking cozy as always, doesn’t really matter what you change it always looks amazing and a wonderful space to putter. Thank you for sharing.

I just came across your channel and I love the picket fence I will try to do the same in my Texas garden zone 8B, I just planted corn and they are about a foot high they are on the other side of my garden bed, it will be great to do the fence to separate the two. thank you kindly. I love it. Yazmin

Hi Laura, oh my goodness your garden looks amazing and I love the fence. Can you please tell me where you bought it. I know you live in New Jersey and I live in Massachusetts but I'm hoping you bought it at a garden center that perhaps is in both our areas. Also, do you have any suggestions on how to keep chipmunks, squirrels and mice yuck out of your garden? I've tried chicken wire but they dig underneath it and they've actually climbed into my raised garden beds and ate some of my veggies! Have a lovely day. And Happy Mother's Day. 😊 🌸
Hi my friend! I have good news on the fence. You can find it at Lowe’s, and all sorts of places. It’s by zippity. 😃
Oh boy I wish I had good suggestions. I have squirrels everywhere and they dig all over. I have used a product called repels all by bonide. It’s an organic granular that is stinky like garlic and they don’t like the smell. Hope you are doing wonderful and thank you so much for the Mother’s Day wishes. 💜😃
Thank you, my friend. I've tried sprays like that as well, but the only problem is, is that our neighbors window is so close to my veggie garden that I don't want to spray anything stinky, lol. Although I love the smell of garlic 😋. I will definitely look for the fence. Thanks again.

Any craft store of Amazon. Just look for preserved sheet moss. I think the brand is mood moss.

Wow, this space looks amazing…Where did you get your pickets from, I have one but I had to dig holes and it was a pain.
Thank you! 😃 these were from lowes by zippity. We did have to use a mallet to hammer down the inner poles, but it was very easy! We did it after it rained and the ground was soft and easy to go through.

Hello! Thank you fir being here. We did both. 😃 Ordered it as a kit from BC Greenhuses and then we assembled all of the pieces after we laid the foundation. I love it.
