Dior Sauvage EDT is a "sentimental "favorite of mine.My mother asked me what I wanted for Christmas in 2017.I wanted Ralph Lauren Polo Black,which I got. It didn't smell on my skin.I exchanged it for YSL Y EDT. I had a sample of Sauvage and I let my mother smell it (I wanted that fragrance).She loved it.2017 was the last Christmas that she would be alive. She passed away in October of 2018.I bought Sauvage in June 2018. I still have that gift set. I think of her every time I wear it.

I know is a sad memory but she is proud if you thinking of her and mentioning her to us, I am staying with my mom now do to a divorce and I am happy to do so, because I left when I was 21 to have my own house and never known much about her or spend time with her and she is 62 now life has no guarantees, we live our moms. one

Sauvage is great. It's a beast and people love it (sales are an evidence). If snobs want to wear Amouage Interlude to go to the club, so be it, but don't let them convince you that sauvage edt is a bad fragrance (it does its job pretty well).
I agree with what Ash said recently that, most likely, some years down the road people will talk about sauvage as a gem that performed like a beast.
I prefer the smell of Bleu De Chanel over Dior. It just smells better to me.
BDC is 10x better than Sauvage

Great vid. I’m a big fan of blue frags with Explorer, Profondo and Sauvage leading for me.
I personally own about 4 solid blue fragrances. They aren't my favorite type of cologne to wear but they are undeniably the best for work. Espically because I work in a hardware store that is very stuffy and hot even as the weather is getting colder. Sauvage is a dumb reach but I like to change it up. Profumo I stopped wearing since discontinuation. Other ones I own are invictus, Dylan blue, Y le pafum, and if I am so desperate for a change then I'll wear the outdated mont blanc individuel or cover myself in nautica voyage.

YSL Y EDP for some reason has became probably my favorite fragrances to wear so far this summer. However, I just got my first bottle of BDC and wore it this weekend to the casino and got two compliments in the first hour.
Definitely not head turners but nice pleasant choices for sure.

I have most of those mentioned here and a few more as well; and honestly...that’s kinda nuts. If I ever run out of my Blue fragrances the ONLY ones in my blue collection I would consider repurchasing would be CHANEL-Blue Perfume, ROJA-Elysium and “maybe” YSL-Y Parfume

Well I know this is going to be very noobish, but im just now starting my journey. I ordered about 30.00 worth of sample viles from fragrancenet and most of these are coming. So when I pick my blue...what are the other categories I should look for...red, black??? I know I'm a fan of smoke and leather smells...just not sure how to start building a versatile collection. I'd like to wear something different every day

there is one thing i have seen in ash or ash vids is that he never compromises on telling the things once again even he has already told it many times in the past for new or unaware subscribers .For example in this vid, he is explaining about the term blue frags in the starting of the vid .Huge respect . i hope you are reading this ash . And i wanted you to know this .
Wow. I totally agree on your Y EDP vs. Y Le Parfum comparison. I much prefer the more aggressively masculine-yet-still-sophisticated Y Le Parfum (sort of parallels what ADG Profumo achieves for the ADG line.) But my wife prefers the Y EDP. No doubt, the "Sage Bomb shower gel blast" of an opening to Y EDP is great. But then in the dry down, there is this particular floral note that takes over as the Sage note recedes and it grates on me. So, I wear Y EDP for her at home/date night, while Y Le Parfum I wear for myself daytime at the office. Problem solved.
So y edp is for summer and y le Parfum is for winter? Thanks

It's quite different than i expected, more mature but quite linear. 12hrs later and i still smell it, quality is undeniable.

Sauvage always has a tobacco leaf scent for me. Not a bad thing.

Y edp and BDC parfum are my choices.
I think Percival deserves a mention. Yes it's not original or completely worth its niche price, but it's a well blended less offensive blue with great performance.
Couldn’t agree more about Percival! There’s a lot of solid deals out there that put it around the price of BDC Parfum so I can enjoy it on the regular 🙌🏻
Nice review......If it is the last thing i do......I will come up with my own fragrance! Made for myself! Then make another for myself! So maybe someday i can have a fragrance someone doesn't have..........And if i can get that accomplished i would never put them out for sale because i want to have my own personal fragrances....

Mont Blanc Legend also reminds me of Claiborne Sport, which is a fragrance I wore in high school and got tons of compliments on.
Doe BDC contain ambroxan? I smell it and even is evwn a "blue" fragrance but never hear anyone mention it.

Hi guys! I have an idea for a video. What about, we tell Ash our strange layering combinations and if he has the colognes, he can try it and give opinion? For me it is a combination of Bentley Absolute 1 spray and Azure 2 sprays. I don't love these scents, but when they are sprayed together...

I haven't been a fan of BDC.... It's too "Sharp" for me, and too expensive. I much prefer Dylan Blue... overall as a smell, it performs better on my skin, and it's a heck of a lot cheaper.
I really love my BDC EDP but have to agree that Dylan Blue performs better and is a lot cheaper. Will probably end up with just one Blue fragrance being the Dylan Blue once the Chanel runs out.

I don't pretend to know for certain how these categorizations are made, but I think Light Blue Intense is considered more of an "aquatic" fragrance than a "blue" fragrance.
I need to re buy Versace Dylan Blue as well as Pour Homme. bought the 50ml of each and I am enjoying them so much they won't last I'm afraid. Note to self, get the biggest bottle possible for these two in future!!😅😅
I just started my journey and only gotten 3 100ml fragrance (profumo, eros, prada lhomme) with couples of decant and sample size (for testing purpose before going for the full bottle). Now im kinda scared that i might need be able to finish up what i currently have. I still have plenty of perfume i wanna try like dylan blue, profondo etc. thinking of starting to go for the smallest bottle but that size to price ratio…

It depends what you want.. The EDT is way more fruity and sweet. The EDP is more citrusy and woody

Profondo is an amazing is classy prossional grown man blue fragrance that is definitely no doubt unique. Don't let it sleep on you, after trying about 20 at ultra beauty, PROFONDO was an immediate grab. You won't regret it, hands down.

Ull need to put ur nose to them to see the difference. If you get like three of each, Ull be able to tell after u smell em.
Percival is a PDM Blue fragrance that is versatile in any occasion.
It’s also very similar to A&F Fierce and Mont Blanc Legend at like triple the price
Percival is in the same vein as A&F Fierce and Mont Blanc Legend , but it isn’t all that similar them. Also, Percival performs way better and lasts longer than both of them. It’s beast mode on my skin. I usually do just 3 sprays. I’ve received compliments 8+ hours after application.
Y EDP is one of my favorite scents right now

Gah...I got a bottle of the Parfum BDC and it was/IS the worst fragrance mistake I've made in my entire life.
I hate it...I should have saved the money and gotten the EDT version of BDC.

How do you know the nano bottle thing didnt happen.
Sauvage edt is that fragrance you can always count on. If you want something subtle, you can spray only once. If you want a fragrance for clubbing, sauvage is there and will perform. It doesn't make sense to wear a very sophisticated fragrance to clubbing or dating if it becomes barely noticeable even to you after 40 minutes (let's be honest).
I learned very quickly to ignore fragrance snobs regarding fragrances. We need to wear what makes us happy and satisfied for the occasion. If its not sauvage, that's absolutely fine, but please don't pretend that fragrances that go skin scent and let you down after 30 min are the "holy grail" of perfumes.
So what do you think of Ferragamo by Salvatore Ferragamo?
Your wife is right the y EDP is way better than the parfum and it’s not even close. Y EDP is one of if not the best fragrance ever.
