Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans🇺🇸 YSL Y EDP is the fragrance that is most dear to my heart, bc of the memories I have while wearing it. It got me into collecting. Dylan Blue is probably my most complimented. I look forward to grabbing Ferragamo Essenziale Blu and Profondo off this great list. I have sampled Profondo and I actually smelled Ferragamo on a co worker and asked what he was wearing. ✌️
My guy Ross...GREAT LIST!! the problem I find with blue style fragrances are that sooo many smell similar...there are only a few that seems to stand out on their own. I love that Azzaro Extreme and the Polo Blue...something about those 2 seem to have a bit of a unique note to them. Believe it or not a basic and a VERY basic blue is Coach blue. Not a beast in performance--but it is definately a blue style fragrance(something to have if you have the original and the Platinum)...also Rohas Llhomme--this has a bit of a middle eastern flare to it--but long lasting and a great performer! As always--thank you for your take on this...and Happy 4th to the People's Champ!
I get the most compliments from Dylan Blue. However, my favorite blue fragrance has become Ajmal Kuro. It smells like Prada Luna Rossa Carbon and Sauvage EDP had a love child! I last forever and projects extremely well.....and the best part is that it can be bought for under $30!!!!!
I found an alternative to Bvlgari Aqua Atlantique in Loewe Agua de Loewe El. Slightly more light blue than blue. Little more mature with the oakmoss and the fruity notes are more juicy but about 75% in the same direction
I got to experience YSL Y Le Parfum the other day and Wow! I'm talking 12 hours on skin and 24 on my clothes! Pure beast mode! Dylan Blue is still my signature!
YSL LeParfum lasted all day in my skin and definitely on my clothing. My wife and I met some ladies after dinner on a Boston Harbor Cruise and some of them hugged me and all commented on my fragrance. It was Y LeParfum. Held up all day from 9am-almost midnight.
You say blue… I watch. I’m like you. I love my blue fragrances. I’ll take Y Parfum over the EDP as it’s a less harsh grapefruit smell. More refined … like BDC Parfum is over the EDP. Nice list!
I’ve had the original light blue for a few years, but never realized how good it was. I dated a lady that would wear the Intense Pour Femme version and she smelled wonderful. So I started wearing my version again and was blown away by how great it smelled. Now I have LB Forever and LB Italian Zest and the original LB and they all are so good!
I just put on Tommy Bahamas Set Sail St Barts for the first time this year and I just love the smell but, It doesn't last as long as you would want but, it is still one of the best blue fragrances you can wear

My “blue” fragrance is Narciso Rodriguez For Him Bleu Noir Edp. I say “blue” in quotations because it doesn’t have a citrus note in it, only has musk, cedar, vetiver, ebony, and amber. Oh, and I love LOVE Prada Carbon.

My choices. Adg Profumo and Profondo. Dylan blue and Versace Pour homme. Aqva Marine. Sauvage EDP. Light Blue Living Stromboli. Cool water Parfum. Bentley Silverlake. Invictus aqua and Versace man eau fraiche. I think these frags are best of the best and I really dont need any other even though I do have many more.

Idk I’ve always considered carbon the non-blue smoothed out Sauvage . But the current formulation which I have is garbage compared to the vintage strong formulation which I wore a lot

Hi 🙋♂️! Thx for the video. Man, I regret so much that I've never smelled Profondo Lights. Do you know of any clone of this fragrance? I see you like AE blu, it's weird cause i like blue scents very much, but I prefer regular Aqua Essenziale. I remember my first love with that kind of fragrances when I was like 20 - cheapie light blue Esprit Connect. It wasn't Dior or Channel, but it smelled so good back then in college times 😉.
I own a lot of those blue scents and I love most of them. My personal highlights for most situations are PdM Sedley and Prada Carbon, while D&G Light blue eau Intense is my high heat vacation scent. That said I really dislike some of those, they might be hyped, but they just don’t work for me. AdG Profonde for example, is tried it like 10 times, but nope, one friend said I would smell like a cheap toilet cleaner.
Adg is overhyped in my opinion,smells nice but is way overpriced. And Pdm sedley is very similar to boss bottled infinite.love both but for the price I won’t rebuy sedley

Yes, gonna have that polo deep blue parfum when my nautica voyage runs out. Absolutely smells like adg profumo but sweeter. Also bought y live and is on the way. Y edp is too sweet for me.
Sorry tltg, i bought a decant of chrome extreme and smelt it. i think its only glory is the opening. When it dries down, it becomes a mineral note that's close to the skin and loses its projection even though the juice is very potent..
Can’t disagree with most of them that I have in my collection or have experience with I will say I tried missoni and missoni wave as well as acqua essenziale blu upon your recommendation and really like them all especially the Salvatore ferragamo I have a sizable collection as well and it’s become one of my favorites as well it’s familiar but unique and smells a lot more expensive than it is $40 for 100ml you can’t go wrong
Sauvauge EDP smells awesome on woman. No joke, I gave half my bottle away even though I never really wear it cause I am afraid of nuking everyone in the heat.

I'm surprised Montabaco Verano didn't make the list. I suppose it's debatable if it's a blue fragrance, but IMO the citrus + leather + tobacco is a great take on the genre and makes it a shoe in for a top spot.
Not sure if you have ever tried it Ross, but Bond #9 Scent of Peace for Him is a gorgeous blue fragrance. Smells reminiscent of Sauvage, but with a pineapple note. Also came out 2 years before Sauvage. I sometimes wonder if Dior possibly copied it.
i tried Bleu de Chanel yesterday, EDT and the EDP, they are good but honestly, i already have a lot of good frags on my colection, i'll pass these two. maybe the Parfum is the one that i will really like.
Somebody gave me Joe Sorrento blue (blue cap) which is cheap but not lasting/ smells good though I used to layer it with Nautica blue then it would last and blend in perfect....

Bdc parfum is a boss scent end of discussion. It’s last forever and it projects. The edp really disappointed me with the lack of longevity but gosh did the parfum make me love bdc again. As for ysl the Le parfum is the best the edp juss is to cloying

personally, I enjoy polo deep blue parfum just a tad more. it smells like polo blue and sauvage mixed with cypress

Deep Blue Parfum is so underrated, it smells really expensive to me, like niche expensive.

Is Y EDP sweeter than Deep Blue?
Y edp is sweeter than deep blue. Deep blue is sweet but when you smell it, it doesn't make you feel that its too sweet. Y edp does that
I like polo gold blend as well as deep blue for summer,and polo red extreme and extreme leather for colder months.the rest of the house is just ok

Why didn't you include "Rochas L'Homme"? I like some of the ones on this list, e.g. the Prada, the Dior, the Versace, and the Roja Parfums.

Aqua atlantique is my favorite blue fragrance I have 4 bottles due to it being discontinued..
I honestly believe Aqua Atlantique beats the lots hands down! So potent!
YSL Y EDP when I want everyone to smell me and Bleu De Chanel EDP daily are my favorites

I think the rotten eggs thing is how your nose puts stuff together. Used to get that a bit until I learned to take apart certain notes.
