I just got an 8ft 2" Browning Blackmagic feeder rod and it's a great rod for the money.
I do a lot of fishing like that for small carp and tench ,I use a Shimano dl 4000 reel find it much better ,great vlog thanks
This is a great tactic and yes you don't foul hook proper fish. I could never feeder fish without a double handle and a bait runner reel as you can get them in such compact choices now although I still use my older Shimano aero 4000----Great bit of kit! I think it must be different for anglers that use the front drag but I'm a bail arm through a couple of fingers guy or backwind 👍
My go to Preston rod was a 11ft Monster feeder rod. I recently got a 9ft Tyson feeder rod - love the shorter length. Great for the small/medium commercial I fish locally.

Is the WANDZEE a "useable" 7ft IN FRONT OF the rod handle, or is it just over 5.5ft IN FRONT? I think all rods should be marketed as length of handle + length of "useable" blank, stated separately.
Des, the margins where I fish the fish are so difficult to catch now days. I'll try this, and I need a little rod like that too. Ha! Did you have the heavy tip in for this Des?

After a few hours. Usually 2pm is the time to start fishing the margins.
Is that a 320 Inertia reel or a 420?

why have subtitles deaf people watching come on i spoke to des befofore im fishing for while i told des im deaf ask to help what i need i think preston innovations didnt care what deaf people need subtiles i always watching all programs of prestons innovations with no subtiles this is very embarrassing im disable person of hearing loss im lip read all my life i always like fishing
