On my BMW e90 I had an issue with the airbag light / seatbelt light was always staying on and the horn didnt work. When looking at the codes, I had code 93B4 and 93A8 that would never clear. This showed that there was a fault in the airbag circuit itself and luckily after some research, it was the clockspring itself. I show you how to replace your clockspring and fix this issue.

Let's GOOO! So glad this video could be helpful. I had my airbag light for like a year before I tried this. Thankfully it worked 💪🏽

For those who still have 93B4 after this, particularly if your horn works (i.e. clock spring is OK), consider replacing your MRS module as it may have internally malfunctioned; I replaced mine with two different used units before finally clearing my stubborn 93B4 error code; Auto Repair Guys will show you how to replace the module.

the coiled wire inside the clockspring will not be centered, if you turn the wheel to full lock on either side, you could break the wire inside the clockspring.

I've had diffrent problems due to the clock spring begin broken but I took it to the shop and they want to charge me 1100 just to code it. I want to fix it my self but I ain't no coder. But in the video you didn't code yours so iam not sure if the shop I took it to is just tryna scam me. What was the forum you read I want to look more into it to save my self some money

Shop maybe trying to scam you but coding stuff like that is expensive and takes the know how. I suggest you replace the clockspring first. It only took me around an hour or so. I've put the link to the blog post in the description

Awesome. These cars are great just a lot of small maintenance things because they are quite old cars now. Im glad this was an easy fix because I did not want to take it to a stealership to get it fixed.

The paddle shifters run on the DME/CAS system. Check everything is plugged in correctly, you may have had an extra cable or connector on your steering wheel.

@@MRGAPZ7900 I never would have guessed sitting in my 335i for a week thinking about this without using a toilet. I replaced the engine myself while on mount everest. I had to hike down the mountain to get my tools and carry the engine medieval style up the mountain. I also replaced the clock spring in a megamax diaper to save time. I fixed the car and I am at the bmw psychiatric center for mental illness treatment. They gave me medicine and said that the bmw 335i is the number one serial killer in America.
