how should i fix it ? when i will open it it spiral will be broken right ? and should i fix the broken spiral and place it correctly or i should go and buy new spiral and place new one inside ?
Had the same issue and soldered the cable back but did not install it. You run the risk of your airbag prematurely deploying since soldering will change the resistance. Found this guy at the salvage yard and told him what I wanted to do. He used to work at a dealership and recommended getting a new or used one. Found same car and got it. Installed, programmed and working. After I opened the clock spring, did not sit the same way when I closed it back up.
@@cu2tonite I took the ribbon out of another clock spring and put it in mine. Same model of course and it worked. This way I didn’t need to program or code.

Hello. I’ve replaced the clock spring with new one in my f10 bmw. I Checked all connections they are ok. But the paddle shifters behind the steering are not working !!! Any suggestion ??

The new one you change it it's for model without padels. You have to buy the clock spring for model with padels.
