    What if the airbags are already deployed and I wanna remove them..do I still have to remove the battery? Or would it be fine

      yes electric discharges sent from computer can happen as the airbag module is still reading

    what about the FRM module, when you disconnect the battery in a BMW E91 ? will it have problems after you connected again , because it will stay around 1 hour without energy otherwise the airbag can explode...not sure how to remove it safely to lube the steering bearing without loosing his programing od develop errors.

    Thanks. I watched a number of these videos and you are the first person to point out that the areas where the screwdriver enters the steering wheel housing may be hard to see and to feel / look for a soft spot. Mine were completely invisible and I was fairly confused.
