Bonsoir Ladies! What a lovely video and great spots you are showing us again! The local area with those nice villas and that hotel sounds like a great choice. 10 min ride by tram to center is nothing, sounds very convenient. Those coffee places,so charming, the tea place, the rooftop must be amazing in warmer weather. Great places to consider for a well-planned visit. Well done to both of you. With your endless smiles it's a pleasure watching you👍😊🌞
Hi! Happy 2024!❤🎉 We are so happy to see you and all the exciting location markets! The onion tart looks yummy! I would love to be there right now! 😅🎉❤
Just love your videos. Can’t wait for the next one. Thank you for sharing your life around Nice and showing us all the practicalities as well. I cannot wait to visit very soon!
So many interesting tips! I’d love to take the little train to the interior villages! The hotels also looked interesting. Especially, the rooftop bar view!
The train is absolutely worth taking, especially (but not only) Entrevaux is amazing, as is the scenery… if you have a full day and like to discover some great parts of the hinterland we highly suggest to try out the “Train des Pignes” 😊. There’s another great train, by the way: Train des Merveilles. We’ll certainly talk about it some other time 😅
@@rivierago Thank you! Is there a village that would make a nice stop, to stay overnight? Or, is it a hop, wander a bit, and get back on the train? I know I’ll be in Marseille in June, but I’m organizing my outline of plans. 😁
Hello Anja and Aila! Happy New Year to you both! This is a lovely video. I kept searching for videos about neighborhoods in Nice other than the promenade and old town area, but couldn't find any. And to my pleasant surprise you released this video about "La Liberation" a whole new area of Nice I had never heard about. I enjoyed everything that you so kindly showed us. Will definitely visit this area when in Nice. If you can please show us more local non touristy neighborhoods in Nice. Thank you for such great work.
Another institution in the same area : Arlequin. Arguably the best ice creams of Nice. It is not open all the year and was probably close when you filmed this video. The Lebanese restaurant is indeed very good as well as Socca Tram for simple local food. On the place, there is also l'Altra Casa for a drink. It also serves some quite correct pizzas. Chez Tintin is known for their Pan Bagna. The butcher in the cover market is top quality. A little bit further, in the street on the left after the bridge of the main railway station, you can find the boulangerie Michel Fiori. If you are looking for a good croissant or pain au chocolat, there is no other place to go. On the place Charles de Gaulle, the bar restaurant Le Pacific is not fancy, but the owners are adorable. For a drink or an affordable and decent meal, it is a place I can recommend.
Thank you so much for all your recommendations! 👍🤩 Tintin was closed when we filmed, and we didn’t know about Arlequin back then - but they are in our ice cream video that we published recently. Agreed: best ice-cream we came across that day! Here’s the video: ua-cam.com/video/_VKCTpZQVyI/v-deo.htmlsi=GvLIr6-G865nzHot And we’ll check out your other recommendations when we get the chance!!
You either walk north from Place Masséna (15-20min) or hop on tram line no 1 (direction Henri Sappia) and get off at “Liberation”. The main axes going through La Libération is the big road going north from Place Masséna in a straight line, you can’t miss it.
Okay I love everything about your videos, and they're very helpful for my upcoming trip, and I know it's very sunny there, but my only request is to not wear sunglasses. I want to see your eyes when you talk. :)
Hotel Massena? You could walk, just along Avenue Jean Médecin. Or take tram line 1 (towards Henri Sappia) and get off at “Libération”, (3 stops) that’s right in front of Gare du Sud
You're making me wanna go back to Nice again with all these off the beaten paths gems. Thanks again for sharing these awesome secret spots!😂😅😂
You could always come back 😇

Enjoy both Paris and Nice! 😄👍
Really nice video

La Liberation 🗽General Charles Andre Joseph Marie de Gaulle ✌
Thank you for a great video. Could you tell me how to get to De Gaulle square from the Center of Nice? Thanks!

Thanks!! 🫣 It‘s just so bright when it’s sunny, it hurts… there are moments that we don’t wear them, indoors… during bad weather… 😎😉
we will be staying at the messena ,could you advise which tram do get to reach the gare du sud food court , many thanks
