45 years of attending concerts, this was magical and will never be unseated as my top concert to ever attend in my 60 yrs of life. My wife didn't believe that they would sound better live than on a recording. Not every band is at the top of their performance game into their mid-60's. So thankful!!
My son and I were there and it was a dream come true for two generations of Cure fans. I last saw them 30 years ago and my son 20 years ago. Robert really looked like he was enjoying it. Best band ever.

I agree with "Lawnwrecker." This was the BEST I have ever experienced all round with Robert being in good voice, the sound, the set list, it was a spiritual experience to see them at this calibre after so many years. It was beyond my expectations. I saw the Tampa, FL and Atlanta, GA shows. Am going to Santiago, Chile next month to experience it again.
Can't believe someone was able to record the whole thing 😭💚 I never thought I'd get to see them live, one of the best nights of my life! Even watching it back and remembering I was there is making me tear up again and get chills. And how they waited until the 2nd encore to play their fast bangers and just ripped through them one after the other. It was like "hold on to your hats fuckers! We aint done yet!" My heroes.
I felt the same way! It was like the set list was made personally with us in mind. The entire concert was songs I didn’t know, except a few that fit the mood. I didn’t care because they sounded awesome. Then they came back for two encores filled with all the bangers to get everyone pumped
Thanks for this! My husband and I were there, but had two staff standing in our line of sight guarding the aisle to the lower seats THE ENTIRE SHOW. I've been telling people "well, we went to HEAR The Cure..."
My granddaughter and I got to see them in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and it actually stormed really bad there. Robert and the band went on like an hour late. I couldn't get close. I'm his age and I so wanted to give him some NASA memorabilia I got on the 50th anniversary of The Apollo Moon Landing. Robert had wanted his new album to come out then but it wasn't ready. I'm not sure how to get it to him, but I'm holding on to it until I do.
Yeah. I don’t think I’ll try to see any other shows at Merriweather. We walked around and the staff even let us go upstairs but we were never able to find a decent vantage point. On the stairs provided a great view but the staff kept making us move from there. It was like going to a concert and missing it at the same time.

This was the 2nd night of the "Cure Lost Weekend" (Philly night before) with my daughter, her friend and longtime friends of mine from past Cure tours....there was something magical about this night....I was on the lawn, the area had bad weather, but it went around MPP.....Sharing the experience of the Cure for the first times with my teenage daughter and hearing 7 songs from Disintegration made this a truly magical experience for her.
I was there for the whole thing and my first show seeing them. My family was with me the entire time including my dad's friends as well and it took three hours to drive to the concert and there we are and seeing them going strong. Awesome show at the amphitheater.

i love how Alone has become such an epic song already, without an actual physical release. i've watched as many of the UA-cam films of this tour as i can find and they never sounded better. can someone explain exactly what Perry contributes though? he barely moves and you can't hear him at all. i reckon he's only there for balance so that Robert can be right in the centre 😎
