THE CURE has kept me afloat for 40 years. It's the only band I can listen to for several hours a day and I absolutely don't get bored. It's not music, it's the flow of waves, sometimes melancholic, sometimes psychedelic, sometimes depressed, but always healing. All I'm sorry about is the departure of Porl Thompson. With his guitar, the concerts were such an experience that it shot me out of my socks.

I am listening to this band since the album seventeen seconds, that came out in 1980. And I am still listening to this band in awe. 41 years later, some songs still bring tears to my eyes. Especially songs like: pictures of you. I LOVE THE CURE !
I saw The Cure play at The Music Machine / Camden Palace / Koko, in 1979. Yes. I’m OLD! 😀 Wouldn’t call myself a huge fan but Disintegration is one incredible album - IMO out performs either of Joy Division’s two offerings.
I never saw the cure I went to see Siouxsie & banshees in London 2002 Empire She was just amazing for her age, fitness and whole performance was superb It's was available on DVD I have a cd of the concert
The Cure is a like magic, in my opinion. The icons of an entire generation playing the songs that anybody, everbody likes in surrounded in an Anfiteatro like this is amazing, like a mistycal experience! Live The Cure, mithy of our times!
I was here. Say what you will but this was the best concert of my life bar none. Thank you for an amazing night. Thank you for the last 40 years of my life.
MHO there are only two bands to ever truly master live ambience; Pink Floyd and... So seamless the song juggling throughout their entire catalogue as if it were no big deal. The Oldies sounded fresh as if they were originally made just prior to the show. Thank you for the VERY necessary upload!
I went to Madison Sq Garden last night. He was amazing. There are no words to describe the vibe. It was like the good old days of high school all over again. The Cure was is still the best! Robert has an amazing smile and his vocals are impeccable.
I was there BOTH nights!! AMAZING NIGHT!!! 3 hour long setlists!!! All bands should be playing shows of that capacity!!! Fantastic time. RAH is one incredible historic venue. It was honor to see The Cure there. Unbelievable. !!
Any idea which night this upload is from Dave? Just wondering if it was the night I was there, it's impossible to work out from the setlists as they were identical.
@@citizenpb I'm not positive but I think it may be a combination of both nights?? I only went to night 1 and was trying to figure out if it was the same night as well.
Damn this band is tight, the drummer is relentless. I have always been aware of them, but never really looked into them until about eight months ago. Up until that time, I had only ever heard two songs by them I liked. Oh, man, these guys are cosmic and deep. I HAVE to see them.
Jason does impress me more the last shows I've seen the band, but it also all clicktrack and backing tracks too I believe. Boris was just all great! Such a machine.
I love The Cure so much, since I discovered until today. They have saved me multiple times from the deepest and darkest moments in my life. Opening Plainsong is how my dreams feel like.
The Cure, Is the Cure….. Listening to you at work keeps my Peace going and my work flowing. Listening to you at Home keeps me in the Zone. Thank You… Forever and 13 Days. I Love You!
I listen to you guy's everyday and it doesn't ever get old , this band I never get tired of listening too ! Robert you make that guitar cry and your voice , what can I say other than I could listen for hour's to it and sometimes I do 💖 I hope that everyone is doing well during these trying time's 🐸
Just brilliant . I sort of liked the cure but only through the more common songs and chart stuff but stumbled opon this and its blown me away .listening from an oil rig and I could be anywhere, definitely going to see them when they tour.
I love their sound filled up space of layers with guitar, base, synth, and voice. Sometimes just a orchestra, sometimes just simple! And their many songs make me happy, upward, but beautiful, geniously. How many great songs by the cure! Can't help falling into them. Great band. Wish can join their concert for long time. Thank much TCT for this great source.
I first heard them around age 5....and I got hooked. It's been 40 years and I still can't explain how their music makes me feel, dream, hope and grief. Finally got to see them and will ever cherish it❤❤❤❤

We've All Got Time To Listen To Good Music Like This, Excellent. Memories Give Future Reason, I Attended A Cure Concert In 1987 & I'm Sure Your Musical Lyrics Gave Me Good Reason. Thanks To All Y'All! Monica K.
Obviously (one of) the best-ever music band .... And they can achieve such great concerts because, from the very first album, there is no low song, no fill-up : every song of every album is a jewel. I remember how Kiss me! has been a shock for me, just two years after the head on the door, it seemed too soon for me to be a good one. What a slap ! After all these years I still remember the emotions on my first listening of the album, the variety of melodies, styles... one more example of the genius of R Smith . Now I feel the urgent need to go listen to "Like cockatos" !
The show I dragged my wife to was like that. Poor dear, she was begging me to go home but I knew if we stuck it out I'd get to hear Boys Don't Cry. She hung in there and I did, bless her heart.
Being in love with this band since I was a kid and I can´t wait for the next tour. ALL OTHER bands should look at The Cure and understand why they sell out big arenas 40 years + into their career. They give ALL fans what they want on every concert, change setlist from city to city and deliver songs from their whole career. Amazing live band and Roberts voice is still perfect.
They put on a beautiful and atmospheric show, they play 3 hours, they interact with the fans, they take pictures with fans after all these years. I wish RHCP (my favorite band) could learn from them 😂
The Cure Super ! I Like the Cure ! !
Out of this world. My favorite band from middle and high school and the tube was kind enough to help me rediscover them this morning. For some reason I didn't stick with the music of my youth as the bands carried on. Once they exploded into commercial fame I admit I was put off. And the magic of their earlier sounds got lost. Now I'll have to check out their later music I've never heard before. U2 was one of the only other bands as big for me as the Cure was - and I wished U2 had quit making new music by the turn of the century. What Bono became, I don't think I can ever feel the same about U2 again. But Robert Smith is a real legend. Absolutely astonishing. A genius, a powerhouse. A true sound-smith. The entire band is incredible. How do they play this long of a set ??? WOW.
My husband died this year... His favorite was YOU The Cure!!! 49 years old and died from asthma on our living-room floor. The last text he sent me was THIS song and video... Just to feel for a second
it made my home theatre well worth investing all that i put into it, i definetly agree w you no words to exspress how awesome this band has been for many years.
Cant believe that no one ever notice the 3:05:52 moment. At that time, he is singing but it is about to loud of laugh cause the way he plays the cowbell. And just as he end the song seconds later, he act funny and frustrated, and then he says with that lovely tone "IT´S NOT MY INSTRUMENT.. REQUIRES TIME !!!" That is by far the funniest thing that I ever see from Robert live. This guy is as brilliant as funny !!! 🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏 GOAT !!!
I LOVE THIS BAND! ❤❤❤ MAKES ME BACK IN TIME, EXACTLY, THE 80'S. AMAZING HOW ROBERT'S VOICE REMAINS EXACTLY THE SAME, IT HASN'T CHANGED ANYTHING! LONG LIFE FOR THE CURE... 👏👏👏 (From Brazil) .
I went and saw the Cure play in Auckland not long after this concert with my dad. He turned to me while they were playing and said " I feel like I'm going to cry." He couldn't believe he was finally seeing one of his favourite bands live. That was one of my greatest memories of my father. Thank you dad and thank you The Cure.
I remember back in 1984 watching the 'Caterpillar' song on 'Radio with Pictures' in NZ on of our only Rock & Alternative Music Show 🎶 I fell in love with the Cure. Couldn't get enough, my mates thought I was mad, but we all liked different range of music, and still do. Awesome to have found this. Later rather than never.
You summarized what I lived for almost 30 years...they were my friends when I was alone. Today it's exciting to see my daughters singing the songs that made so much sense to me. touch souls
I am surprised Robert's voice is still good after these years. I wish Robert would get a more flattering hair style though; it looks goofy. Great concert.
Love this band since the 1980’s Such a rollercoaster of emotions go through ya when listening ( whether your by yourself or others) I can’t think of any other band that can create a concert experiences as such ( with the exception of The GRATEFUL DEAD)
@@doretheasmith4130 yeah he’s back, i really hope things are good between Simon and the band. Everyone always praises Robert (rightly so) but Gallup is just as important. He’s an OG and a absolutely legendary player and he is prob the coolest looking in the band and lowkey has been since the 70s

Happy 62nd birthday Robert 🎉 April 21, 2021. ❤️ I've been a fan for 4 decades.
I am listening to this band since the album seventeen seconds, that came out in 1980. And I am still listening to this band in awe. 41 years later, some songs still bring tears to my eyes. Especially songs like: pictures of you. I LOVE THE CURE !
Robert Smith voice sounds just as clear as 20 years back. All boys are still so powerful. I'm just amazed.

Bobby is Jesus.

Robert lindo..❤i love you meu amor!!..❤

I saw The Cure play at The Music Machine / Camden Palace / Koko, in 1979.
Yes. I’m OLD! 😀
Wouldn’t call myself a huge fan but Disintegration is one incredible album - IMO out performs either of Joy Division’s two offerings.
I'm old too! I saw them at Lewisham Odeon the same year - my first gig. Supporting Siouxsie and the Banshees with Robert playing guitar for them.
I never saw the cure
I went to see Siouxsie & banshees in London 2002

She was just amazing for her age, fitness and whole performance was superb
It's was available on DVD
I have a cd of the concert
Old guys are cool. Time defines life. We have a lot of it.
I like Herbert's comment
Le meilleur groupe sur scène.... Inégalable. ROBERT SMITH ❤❤❤❤❤
I love the Cure. Every time I watch one of their live vids, I just shake my head...how can a band be this good? Robert Smith is a genius...
Your final sentence gets it. Bobby is our Mozart or Bach.
Yes. I love him!❤❤❤
this live performance is wow!
The same voice as 40 years before. Many thanks Robert for having been a part of my life :)
(Modified : you are better now 🙂 )
Brasil, Bahia. Salvador, 26/10/22
também adoro Brasil Bahia feira de Santana
Brazil is amazing, especially Rio de Janero during the festive seasons. Brilliant! Luvsz my little angelsz. Ta ta my dear.🎶🎶〽️💗💞❤️💜
SOLID ... as always, and AS ALWAYS so very INSPIRING and gorgeous. Just GORRRRRGEOUS!!!!!!!!
The Cure is a like magic, in my opinion. The icons of an entire generation playing the songs that anybody, everbody likes in surrounded in an Anfiteatro like this is amazing, like a mistycal experience! Live The Cure, mithy of our times!
Epic Genius...
Transcendent. Bobby is God.
I must congratulate them for managing a three and a half hour concert - something people half their age would find extremely difficult to do.
I believe it was 2005 ish and evening with the cure after the canceled curiosa festival... about 3 hours that was many moons ago
An they are still doing it 2023-2024 WW tour 3 hrs and 20 minutes +- 40 songs unbelievable , top quality performances
The Cure brought us such beautiful music it's timeless and beyond epic !!!
I was one of the lucky ones - wonderful night, great to see it again (and again and again and again)...
VERY COOL.....who couldn't love this voice ? Takes me to a better time.
I was here. Say what you will but this was the best concert of my life bar none. Thank you for an amazing night. Thank you for the last 40 years of my life.
So fucking beautiful;)
That’s so wonderful u had that experience 😌
MHO there are only two bands to ever truly master live ambience; Pink Floyd and...
So seamless the song juggling throughout their entire catalogue as if it were no big deal. The Oldies sounded fresh as if they were originally made just prior to the show. Thank you for the VERY necessary upload!
I'm a huge David Gilmour fan and completely agree. Robert is Goth God🖤
I went to Madison Sq Garden last night. He was amazing. There are no words to describe the vibe. It was like the good old days of high school all over again. The Cure was is still the best! Robert has an amazing smile and his vocals are impeccable.
Same! My family and I went and we were lucky enough to go two nights in a row. He sounded great and yes the cure will fs always be the best :)
the best music of the best..smith is a hero for many,, his music is a blessing for us all..
Love it. The Cure will live forever as quite possibly the greatest rock band of all time.
💩
I was there BOTH nights!! AMAZING NIGHT!!! 3 hour long setlists!!! All bands should be playing shows of that capacity!!! Fantastic time. RAH is one incredible historic venue. It was honor to see The Cure there. Unbelievable. !!
Where/when was this?
@@EricAndrewDodson 2014 Royal Albert Hall, London
Any idea which night this upload is from Dave? Just wondering if it was the night I was there, it's impossible to work out from the setlists as they were identical.
@@citizenpb I'm not positive but I think it may be a combination of both nights?? I only went to night 1 and was trying to figure out if it was the same night as well.
Man. Three + hours of the Cure live. Forever playlist.
Damn this band is tight, the drummer is relentless. I have always been aware of them, but never really looked into them until about eight months ago. Up until that time, I had only ever heard two songs by them I liked. Oh, man, these guys are cosmic and deep. I HAVE to see them.
check de the "show" concert, with cure´s classic line up. jason cooper is ok at the drums. but boris williams was the real shit to me
Yeah man they are just so experienced in what they do. Robert Smith is an amazing musician and songwriter.
It will be the best concert of your life
Jason does impress me more the last shows I've seen the band, but it also all clicktrack and backing tracks too I believe. Boris was just all great! Such a machine.
Cure is focking killing it here. Rock against death.
I love The Cure so much, since I discovered until today. They have saved me multiple times from the deepest and darkest moments in my life. Opening Plainsong is how my dreams feel like.
Bobby is God.
The Cure, Is the Cure….. Listening to you at work keeps my Peace going and my work flowing. Listening to you at Home keeps me in the Zone. Thank You… Forever and 13 Days. I Love You!
I make drawings. Do you make pictures? Bob is God.
I listen to you guy's everyday and it doesn't ever get old , this band I never get tired of listening too !
Robert you make that guitar cry and your voice , what can I say other than I could listen for hour's to it and sometimes I do 💖 I hope that everyone is doing well during these trying time's 🐸
I've listened to them for 35 years.. they never get old..

'Pictures of You' - 1:04:10 - brilliant! 'Just like Heaven' - 1:35:45 - likewise! 'A Forest' - 2:40:57 - the stuff of legend!
Absolutely Agree
everything that The Cure has done is legendary.
Not many artists would do 3hrs for their fans. This was certainly a value for money concert. Much love for the Cure ❤
indeed. The Cure are not like everyone else, in every regard
❤ Magnifique.Grandiose,40 Ans de the Cure❤ et j'en redemande.ENORME MERCI ❤❤❤ LOVE YOU,C'
I love this band. The songs, the performances, the myth, and the memories.
Perfect ! May age is 50 years, I live in Brazil and listen The Cure a longe time a go, more precise 35 years a go. Thank you very much The Cure.
I first heard them around age 5....and I got hooked. It's been 40 years and I still can't explain how their music makes me feel, dream, hope and grief. Finally got to see them and will ever cherish it❤❤❤❤
Lucky enough to see this live. Longest and best gig I have ever been to.

ROBERT you have a beautiful rare gift. Your music runs the gambit of emotions.Thank you for sharing your music with us. A Forest is my favorite tune of yours.
Like cockatoos and then icing sugar
Amazing songs
Three Encores! Imagine being at this show. How grateful should we be that these are available on youtube?
The show I dragged my wife to was like that. Poor dear, she was begging me to go home but I knew if we stuck it out I'd get to hear Boys Don't Cry. She hung in there and I did, bless her heart.
I was lucky enough to be at this show. Nearly three and a half hours of awesome music and all for a good cause too. Just brilliant.
The Cure is absolutely timeless
Being in love with this band since I was a kid and I can´t wait for the next tour. ALL OTHER bands should look at The Cure and understand why they sell out big arenas 40 years + into their career. They give ALL fans what they want on every concert, change setlist from city to city and deliver songs from their whole career. Amazing live band and Roberts voice is still perfect.
I agreeee.... Cant say how much my soul feels this
They put on a beautiful and atmospheric show, they play 3 hours, they interact with the fans, they take pictures with fans after all these years. I wish RHCP (my favorite band) could learn from them 😂
i love the cure, i listen to them every day and i dont get bored!
The Cure Super ! I Like the Cure ! 👌👍👍👍👍✌❤🇰🇿🖐
A Forest, dreszcze przechodzą, audio orgazm. Najlepszy utwór The Cure live. Najlepiej pasuje do koncertów.
WOW.
truth, beauty and goodness🙂
Words cant express the love for the cure.... Music touches MEEEEE inside
🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏 GOAT !!!
the cure number a very beautiful song. Wild mood swings... I hope Robert will play this often.
I LOVE THIS BAND! ❤❤❤ MAKES ME BACK IN TIME, EXACTLY, THE 80'S.
AMAZING HOW ROBERT'S VOICE REMAINS EXACTLY THE SAME, IT HASN'T CHANGED ANYTHING!
LONG LIFE FOR THE CURE... 👏👏👏
(From Brazil) .
Right, Bob can still sing. That is key.
Poderosamente impecables!!!
Amazing Show - Amazing Keyboard playing by Roger!
Unique music and a superb backdrop to my life. I will breathe my last breathe listening to The Forest.❤
I can´t describe how much I miss seeing the cure live. My heart bleeds when I watch that
I feel you.
I´m obsessed with The Cure since the 80s. you're simply the best
I agree

This band looks so damn happy to play! Sweet.
Not a core fan of the band, but what a performance ! Almost no break for three hours. Those guys are true athletes !
Tey are undead. ;)
Yes .They just played in Dallas. 3 hour show
I am surprised Robert's voice is still good after these years. I wish Robert would get a more flattering hair style though; it looks goofy. Great concert.
I can't believe they play 3 hours and RHCP only 1 hour 40 minutes 😢
Love this band since the 1980’s Such a rollercoaster of emotions go through ya when listening ( whether your by yourself or others)
I can’t think of any other band that can create a concert experiences as such ( with the exception of The GRATEFUL DEAD)

I'm so glad Simon is back. They are going to start touring again in 2022 can't wait. I hope they are coming to the US.
