Its not so well done course if you look at grammar(it doesn't acknowledge some rules), but it helps to communicate bc you understand words after it. :) keep up we love to see someone interested in our language! In some time you will be a pro ☺️
love from poland! But one thing I kind of don't approve about duolingo is that some polish sentences although being grammatically correct and sometimes even having the right word order wouldn't ever be used by a native speaker. Its a good thing for learners because its easy to put together but as a native I find it a bit distasteful to see such simple mistakes seen as fully correct by the site itself on the harder levels. Examples: 4:49, tho the sentence is correct, for a native it sounds like the word "wtedy" was put there as a result of a last second thought, and as it is out of place. The more correct option could be "Wtedy słuchaliśmy radia" but for me even here "wtedy" sounds a bit messy, and as if put there for the sake of a direct translation of "back then". The option that sounds the best to me would be as if answering a question like this: "Co wtedy robiliście?" ("What you were doing back then?") and answer: "Wtedy? Słuchaliśmy radia." ("Back then? We were listening to the radio.") I hope this helps!
and btw the word "wtedy" mostly sounds best at the beginning of a sentence, as the second word in a sentence after a word giving a subject to the sentence, such as "nikt (wtedy)..." ("Nobody (back then)...") or after a comma.
im from poland !
keep going!
