Congratulations! Thank you for putting CFI back into perspective for me, John. I've been getting frustrated at the pace I've been going and thank you for reminding me that we all learn at different paces and rates and that just because someone finished in 2 months doesn't mean that I'm not progressing as well.
Todd, your videos have been amazing for me as I'm learning to become a CFI. I've learned so much from your videos and I know I'll be a better CFI / pilot because of it. Thanks again for your hard work and for making all of these videos.

Just passed the Oral portion of my CFI today, plane had some mechanical issues so we had to discontinue the flight until next week. Can’t thank you enough for the videos especially the one on flight reviews the knowledge really came in handy!

I now have an AGI and an IGI with more than 200 hrs of ground instruction given. Is it a myth or true that the dpe will not have to cover as much oral portion as the CFI initial?
That is subjective to how well you explain the first few subjects the DPE throws at you. Generally, they see this as field experience and will test the waters before going light on you.
Todd, for PPL, is the written test mandatory before my checkride, or would completing my ground school be enough?
The knowledge test is a requirement for the checkride.
