- Just a quick little video this week about a longchamp le pliage tote I found at a local thrift store! Or rather, the two that I found-one authentic and one… decidedly not. I do not endorse counterfeits, but since this one was found already used at a charity thrift store, I didn’t mind spending the odd $3 to film this little comparison for you 🙂

I guessed the purple was the real. Boy, was I wrong! Having two Longchamp bags to compare I might have been able to determine a fake but if I had only seen one I probably would have assumed it was real, not knowing it is a brand that’s been duplicated. Good find! I bought Longchamp tote bag & backpack for 65% & 40% retail price (compared to the Longchamp online site) at Marshalls. $89 & $99 each in classic dark grey & navy colour. Many people who shop at Marshalls don’t seem to know the Longchamp brand so the stores marked them on clearance.
Oh nice! TJ Maxx and Marshalls are great places to find some nice bargains like that ☺️

What about stamping on the back of the flap?
What is it passes all the other tests but it isn’t lined? It’s real leather and has all the details you mentioned but it’s not lined in the inside

It's getting hard to spot fake ones this time since they outsource their products in different countries now. Had I not bought mine at the website it could easily passed as fake. Bought two from them and one is made in china and other is from vietnam. The differences are unbelievably huge.
I have one in clay. Everything looks real but the three digit color code after the 089 is “A59”. I hope it’s not fake. I haven’t even seen that color code anywhere for Longchamp 😞

Probably a discontinued color or a seasonal color!
Hi very helpful video & thanks for it. Just FYI I think those rips and tears in the real pink one can be fixed for you if you dropped it in a Longchamp shop. I got mine fixed in Melbourne for free by them.

Hi, I can confirm that they do. The first repair is free and any subsequent ones cost a small fee, for example a (second) zip repair cost me €25.
