Yup you're right thank you for sharing, the tag said Made in france the code is WIL, WIL is for made in china. If its from france the tag should be SVB,ERN,COM,CHG,PAC and New tag is MRF.

Definitely. I have some vintage Longchamp bags I bought preloved, but technology has improved so much that it's now very easy for counterfeiters to do their thing.
It so annoying on Mercari I see a bunch of fake Polene and when I went to post my mini bag that my daughter purchased for me in NY they took it down and said it was fake and I can’t even contact no one to dispute anything, it’s just a generate email. 😡
That's super annoying! I believe Mercari's policy is that they take things down automatically when two accounts make the same report. My little conspiracy theory wheels start turning and I wonder if the counterfeit sellers (who are notorious for having multiple accounts) are reporting authentic items. Anyway, sorry that happened!
I just bought one on Poshmark and as soon as I got it I knew it was a fake. So I reported it to Poshmark and hopefully I’ll get a refund.

Hi! I just got a mini Longchamp; I think it's quite old. The stitching and zipper seem good, but the label inside is black and made of leather. Do you think it's authentic?
The leather tag is common with older Longchamp bags. It usually has numbers rubber stamped on the bag. I haven't been on the purse forum in ages, if Seton is active on the Authenticate this Longchamp thread, she can check it for you. Or if the numbers are legible, you can run it by the Longchamp email in the description box.

Hey, don't beat yourself up about it! We've all bought something that was too good of a deal to be true. I can understand sending it back to the seller, even if it's illegal to sell seems like it would be a legal hassle on poshmark's end to get involved in destroying counterfeit crap. But you were smart enough to recognize that this was shady business and report them! But if they get shut down they'll just pop up and reopen another account, I'm sure. Sorry for the aggravation, but if anything, at least you were able to help future shoppers know to be on the lookout for anything suspicious bags.

Sometimes they're quite speedy and other times they take a few days.

Is it really possible to be a fake ? They go on sale and the person might have bought multiple and resell them ! Their bags are now made of paper and plastic 🫣perhaps after all it is real !
The Le Pliage line is made out of nylon and leather. As I mentioned in the video, Longchamp confirmed by the number on the tag that this bag was fake. There was a huge rush on this style last year and Longchamp was selling out, so the counterfeiters stepped in.
Longchamp doesn't put any of their nylon bags on sale, though you can occasionally find past season items that didn't sell in places like TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack. I have some vintage Longchamp bags I bought preloved. I would not buy a recent Longchamp bag on the secondhand market now that I know how many fakes are out there.
