for those who are interested, the model was created in a program called VRoid, there's a possibility the animator converted the model into another program called MMD to create the motion or the animation was also created on VRoid.

She just took things that were popular and "underground" 10+ years ago and shows a very watered down, consumer friendly version. Her approach isn't unique or original and she's not pay "homage" to any one aspect of these things because she barely explores them and doesn't promote or even acknowledge the core portions of the scenes she represents. The vocaloid community has been making original content from music, to videos, to graphics, to models, since Miku's debut and Grimes is doing nothing but capitalizing off of the hard work and energy of those people. She does the same with videogames, anime, and fucking Dune. Honestly she's not unique at all, she's very much like everyone else who runs in my circles as a 28 year old woman, I do not understand her hype at all. She isn't doing anything, she's just presenting these things to a younger generation who didn't experience it, in a flaccid and hollow way. Zzzzzz.

She just took things that were popular and "underground" 10+ years ago and shows a very watered down, consumer friendly version. Her approach isn't unique or original and she's not pay "homage" to any one aspect of these things because she barely explores them and doesn't promote or even acknowledge the core portions of the scenes she represents.
The vocaloid community has been making original content from music, to videos, to graphics, to models, since Miku's debut and Grimes is doing nothing but capitalizing off of the hard work and energy of those people. She does the same with videogames, anime, and fucking Dune.
Honestly she's not unique at all, she's very much like everyone else who runs in my circles as a 28 year old woman, I do not understand her hype at all.
She isn't doing anything, she's just presenting these things to a younger generation who didn't experience it, in a flaccid and hollow way.
