I totally agree that the Ex model should have a different style of rim from the Lx model. And I wish they would go back to the badging on all the models. If I'm spending money for extra amenities/perks then I want it to show
Glad it has physical buttons not a fan of all the touch screens in modern vehicles. I like the design for the last gen better. 12:12 so am I joe more options the better . Also we're in the decade of 2020 how is back seat ac not a main thing?
Thank you for this review! Ironically, I am getting the exact model and color this Friday! I'm basically watching my car in action! Can't go wrong in a Honda!
@Blue Point Yes, it's sitting in my garage. The car is great. The cabin is quiet. It feels more expensive than it was. Two things stick out for me: thr CVT transmission will take some getting used to. They have improved it, but initially, you will be wondering why the car isn't shifting. Another area is the door handles. While they work great, you have this feeling that if you pull real hard or quickly, you might break it. Maybe it's me being gentle because it's new. Otherwise, it's great so far. The car has very good passing power at highway speeds. It looks big, but it feels so light. It feels lighter than my 1987 Prelude Si.
This design will need to grow on me. Prefer the previous generation over this one from the front. Rear looks great. Wish the 2.0 was still available. Not even casually interested in the 1.5.
Why would I spend 30 grand on a basic car like this? Honda must be stuck in the 90s to think giving you body colored moldings is enough to make me sell out more money. For 30k, I could get a fully loaded ANYTHING ELSE.
Mazda6 was so much better than all these other midsize vehicles. It's a shame people didn't buy it. Also, people bought the camry then complained about it... weird
These 11th gen cars have been disappointing me, huge price increases for both the Civic and Accord, no extra power, not even on the Si. The interiors are nice, but I wasn't expecting them to get worse. I think Honda has just gotten cocky. Also that hood is huge! Could easily fit a much bigger engine 👀
No rear ac, no faux leather to clean easily, NO rear usb port, plastic steering wheel and no BSM - you gotta be a real joker to actually buy this trim in 2023
Man, I can’t decide if I should go for an Accord or for a Sonata. The Camry felt too small for me, while the Accord felt nice. I hear a lot of people saying that Honda quality isn’t what it used to be, and that the Accord lacks a lot of features that the competitors have. I also hear some people say that Hyundai quality has improved, but some still say it sucks
Well, here's my experience with Hyundai and kias. Had 2 kias a 2005, and 2007 spectra. Both were decent inside and out. Both were fully loaded vehicles. I drove both to a little over 100.000 miles, and neither required any warranty work. They were super reliable . One needed a new water pump, and one needed a new starter, both after 100.000 miles. I bought a 2017 Elantra new. Its just turned 100.000 miles last month and has required 0 repairs, and has had 0 issues. I have kept it even though I bought a new kia K5 GT LINE with premium package in May of 21. So its now 2 years old, and has 25.000 miles on it. No issues, its got every option you car get except for the Bose stereo. Panoramic sunroof included. Real 8 speed automatic transmission, it was a little over 28.800 dollars. I love it, and am very happy with it.
@@johnfranklin5277 thats awesome man. It seems like the people who shit on Hyundai and Kia quality are making assumptions based on the past. Everyone who has owned Hyundais and Kias in the past few years has been really happy i’ve heard
Between the current Camry and Accord I would definitely go with the Accord! I believe the 2024 Camry will be nicer and the new Sonata is the best but I prefer to stick with Camry or Accord for reliability.
You can tell we are reaching the end of the pure ICE car era; the Accord has moved from 2 liter to a higher stressed 1.5 liter engine; will never last as long as the prior bulletproof engine did. It's a nice sedan, and Honda gives you good value for the money.

I just seen the 2024 Hyundai sonata, can't wait for that review!
Hyundai is shit
Joe is bringing us more Honda goodness, this Accord EX is sharp, love the design, I'd consider buying one it's not plain or boring it's just right for me!
It couldnt get more plain and boring. Especially compared to all of its competitors
So what makes it exciting lol
Lol you committed the UA-cam sin. You expressed your opinion, and said you like something... how dare you lol get what you like bro
If it's not plain or boring, then it must be dull and lame.
this car is sharp? jeez LOL. Must be the 2005 volkswagen Passat exterior
Nice review. Two comments! 1) In another review, you mentioned you would not spend an additional money to get the sunroof. Here you said a sunroof would be nice (which means higher trims and more spending) 2) In another review, you criticized badges that show trim of the car. Here you suggested adding an EX badge.
🤔🤔
That brought back memories 🙏🏻🙏🏻🤣🤣 when you said " blow on NES cartridge " those were the days , thank you for that and the laugh or what about up up down down left right left right 😎
I appreciate Hondas they have always been so reliable and everyone has at least 1 in their driveway or knows someone
idk about reliability. They have transmission problems. my brother experience one and never liked it.
I agree with Steven. I don't think full light bars look good. I like the breakup in the middle.
i had new 2021 Accord, loved it , traded it few months ago for Mercedes GLC300 , but I miss my Honda , I’ll be trading my Benz for another new Accord next year … awesome cars
Wish they would’ve added a larger screen. Only the hybrid models have large screens. 😢
I wish Honda would increase the head and shoulder room in the Accord.
Nice 2002 Ford Taurus
Hey Raiti's Rides How Are You Can You Make The 2023 Hyundai Sonata Limited! Great Video Have A Nice Day
I totally agree that the Ex model should have a different style of rim from the Lx model. And I wish they would go back to the badging on all the models. If I'm spending money for extra amenities/perks then I want it to show
Salutations in the LX there isn't a back windshield wiper how to see when it rains or there is dust... simply wipe by hand?
Just when you thought their designs couldn’t get any worse
The problem with these new sedans is that the crossover SUV’s are cheaper and give you more tech. 30k for this accord is too much
Oh that’s a cool ford fusion
Glad it has physical buttons not a fan of all the touch screens in modern vehicles. I like the design for the last gen better. 12:12 so am I joe more options the better . Also we're in the decade of 2020 how is back seat ac not a main thing?
RIP fun accord, it was a nice long run, but dropping the stick in 2020 and now dropping the 2.0t with the 10sp auto for 2023, all the fun’s over.
lovely car Joe! Good job
That's a nice Lincoln Mark Vlll sedan!
Lmao😂😂
Thank you for this review! Ironically, I am getting the exact model and color this Friday! I'm basically watching my car in action! Can't go wrong in a Honda!
Did you get it? How is it so far? Just curious about how comfortable the seats are and how quite is the cabin.
@@pointsur67 Congratulations!!! and thank you very much for this detailed response, it was very helpful!
thats funny hope you love your new car! i just bought the same but red lol
@a.d.7922 I have almost four thousand miles on it and it's great!
2020 SPORT design was by far the best accord design ever
What were they thinking when they designed this refrigerator with wheels?
i like refrigerators!
Anything else like what?
First thing I do when I buy a car is take the badges off, except for the front/back logos.
Mazda6 was so much better than all these other midsize vehicles. It's a shame people didn't buy it. Also, people bought the camry then complained about it... weird
Tell me about it! I feel that same way.
Interior is 9.5/10, exterior is 5/10
These 11th gen cars have been disappointing me, huge price increases for both the Civic and Accord, no extra power, not even on the Si. The interiors are nice, but I wasn't expecting them to get worse.
I think Honda has just gotten cocky.
Also that hood is huge! Could easily fit a much bigger engine 👀
This is true.
No rear ac, no faux leather to clean easily, NO rear usb port, plastic steering wheel and no BSM - you gotta be a real joker to actually buy this trim in 2023
Hilarious and a true salesman. I just bought the same car yesterday.
6:30 imagine that’s what the accord really sounded like 😂
Man, I can’t decide if I should go for an Accord or for a Sonata.
This car look like a undercover cop car 🚔
You can tell we are reaching the end of the pure ICE car era; the Accord has moved from 2 liter to a higher stressed 1.5 liter engine; will never last as long as the prior bulletproof engine did. It's a nice sedan, and Honda gives you good value for the money.
I love it. I would rather have a bland reliable car vs a stylish car that burns my pockets from paying the mechanics.
