What a treat for them to let you come along. So amazing rocks with stunning color. Thanks for sharing it with us. Cut, cut, cut. It makes it all the better.
Throughout this video if was unimpressed with this material, until the end when you started cutting it. Now I think this is some killer material. Right on Kate. Keep doing!!😎😎😎
Absolutely gorgeous material! So cool that they let you go with them and collect some. Good thing you took your muscle with you!😉 Such amazing slabs too. Thanks for sharing this awesome trip with us Kate!✌️🤠
Man that stuff was gorgeous! So beautiful and it was really smart to hold off on taking the lesser quality stuff because there was loads of both! That chunk that jim split was beautiful and the slices were stunning! So very pretty! Its so hard not to want to pick up and take all the pieces you see! Thanks so much for sharing! It was phenomenal!
Hello from Idaho..its was so fun to see you was here visiting our Area..i live about 25 miles from that store and we love going out to succor creek..did you get to find any thunder eggs while you there, they have them out there also..they have thunder egg days in Nyssa Or every year
Darn, I didn't realize you guys were on that trip to. Small world. I seen my pickup in one of the shots. Would have been nice to meet you. Was fun trip. I found some with brighter reds, but was only able to bust off a small piece that had the red. Split and shared it with a new friend I met there while digging.
Great video as always Kate! Those pink plume agates are beautiful for sure. I would have been running around trying to find things to fill my back pack for sure too lol. Good job Jim on breaking those rocks apart !!! Can we see the heavy weird rock with the copper in it all cleaned up too?
Well your comment about how much you need and take in consideration other people katy makes you a true rock hound you are ok in my book girl love your videos
Hi Katy, that is really nice looking material. I am not one to bark at you in regard to moderation, one spot I have been to now about 5 or 6 times and have quite a bit of material, sone small boulder size, which is a bit of an issue as I only have 6inch trim saw. Now I looking for plans for a slab saw, 😂😂. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
Thanks for brightening up a Sunday. I'm in the central highlands of Mexico. Loads of volcanic rock and ash, not much in the way of agate or other good rock. Mike
You're in my neck of the woods, I live in La Grande Oregon. I just got home yesterday from a work trip through Ontario to John Day back roads to Madras visiting 50 cell towers 🗼 along the way. I came home with a bucket 🪣 full of amazing agates and crystal's. Im hoping your going to head to Madras/Bend area's. I don't know why a rockhounding person would come to Oregon and not visit those areas. Richardson Rock Ranch, polka dot mine. Glass butte a number of other amazing places there.
We were in a limited time frame, as we were visiting my parents in The Dalles. We did go to the Madras area last May and visited the Polka Dot mine - great fun! And of course Richardson’s is almost always on our trip list - we didn’t go this time because we went to the coast.
Hello Katy, I'm a new subscriber but life long rock hound. I genuinely appreciate your videos as I can kinda vicariously rock hunt through you lol. I injured myself some time back and am now disabled, umm going stir crazy not being able to work too. So I have decided to give my artistic side a chance at making some side cash and figured I'd incorporate my true love hobby rock hounding into it. Anyway long story short, if there were one thing you could change or wish you knew about your saw before buying it what might that be? This girl needs some advise on buying one. Any advise is reeally appreciated.
So did the club contact you or did you reach out to the club? I always wonder how that works when people show videos on private claims. Beautiful scenery and beautiful rocks. I need a 4x4 vehicle lol.
Ya'll simply rock 👍🏼💚🐸💚🐢👍🏼😃

@@KatyDidRocks I’m glad y’all had a great time. I would have to out there because they were all so cool and beautiful
Sometimes its best to just leave stuff behind when you start collecting rocks at a faster pace than you can process them.
I totally agree - I just can't make myself leave them behind when they are Montana agates, because they might disappear next time.
I really like that green rock! Very cool.
Thanks1
Wow, that's some beautiful stuff there, amazing Kate. Seriously thank you for sharing your awesome journey!
Amazing rockhounding
Great video. Thanks!

Awesome finds, that material is pretty, I love the ones where the plumes a a little less concentrated, I find to much makes a peice look cluttered.
Gorgeous
It looks like the Northern Lights!
It does!

Very cool
Thanks for brightening up a Sunday.

There should be SOME collectible material if there is volcanic ash - good luck!
How fun

:D He actually carried the (very heavy) backpack back up to the vehicle.
Montana agates don’t count 🤣 and Missouri lace agate druse quartz 👍🏼It’s not hoarding if your stuff is cool! 😂
