Happy new year Andy, love your honest reviews. Totally agree with you in that the irons look great and drivers look terribly dated and from a Costco set.
I’ve not seen other reviews yet but for me the products are great but ultimately in this test at least, provided nothing greater than what we have seen previously. Maybe I will take them on course and be proven to find different 👍
That’s what a tough spot Callaway are in. The Paradym series was GREAT. The AI Smoke marginally better. But with the phased product being as good as it is it’s tough to justify upgrading esp at today’s prices.
If the adjustable hosel has been changed, does that mean if you wish to use your existing shaft, you will need to change the hosel. If it does it is always a bit risky and a hassle.
@@jacobmccain8082I have rogues and was waiting to see this years offerings because I wanted to upgrade and not sure if I should get these or smokes now
Hi Andy - Thanks for the reviews. It’d be interesting to hear if on the Drivers they provide additional weight options so that a player could dial it in a bit more with bigger weight in back and smaller weights on draw or fade positions to optimize. Additionally as I watch many of these new club introductions, I think it’d be interesting to do a comparison of last 3 or 4 generations with same shaft and similar setup to see are there significant jumps in distance, dispersion and forgiveness or is it a marketing exercise for the average golfer?
Andy. Happy New Year to you. Really enjoyed that review. Really good you tested the range of clubs available. Seems the hybrid and woods worked better for you so perhaps some improvement there. Drivers. Mmm. Think pretty much all manufacturers have to come to the end of the line with improvements and gains to be made.
Hello Andy. All UA-cam Golf specialists are testing these clubs now. No one says that they gonna improve our game. Glad I have my TM P 790. They have all a golfer wants. 😊😊😊😊
Holy extended Xmas Andy.. surrounded by so much new gear. I hope Santa brought some ibuprofen to help keep that back loose. :) I'm with you on the hosel adjustability..they stopped at the 5w in the AI Smoke line as well. I play an old 5w Epic Flash and love to tune it up or down. I like the matte finish though. Wish they put it on the TD as well..is the fairway TD model glossy also like the TD driver? Might be the first time I've ever seen a company have two completely different finishes like that within the lineup.
Would love to see more on the titanium-version of FW. There seems to be one. If the day comes when I’m forced to let the Epic Flash FW’s go, that Ti-FW seems like something I could like 🤔
Dear Andy, I'd love you to do an honest review on Tom Wishon clubs. Tom is an absolutely legendary club designer. He makes as good as the best golf clubs on the planet, and they are very good value. Also would you review Krank drivers and fairway woods. They are also very very good, but the Wishon clubs are sooooo very good. I have them in my bag and can't praise them enough.
Feel the same ref the bottom side look, just meh & expected better from Callaway. Also had the same thought as you and some others about the removable weight port screw holes, not a fan. I still have my epic max ls driver and nice to revisit the green & white scheme but they missed the mark on this one. The irons do look smart though similar look to the apex.
How does their marketing dept. let this fly? Not a fan of the look at all…looks like a Walmart brand tbh. From the green to the big E to the name Elyte. They had so much going with the Smoke. At least it’s good for ppl lookin to buy discounted Smokes. Great vid as usual btw, thanks brother 🫡
The only thing Callaway did was produce a poor copy of the Mizuno JPX line even down to the number of different options in the irons, and at a higher price no doubt
The hybrid is very impressive. Possibly too powerful, definitely one to test maybe a 5h would be a match for my current 4h but with better launch. The standard 5w might be the most impressive of the clubs. Am a bit disappointed that there is no adjustability, but it is very powerful and launch is excellent. The drivers are not as interesting to me, from the bottom I agree with Andy the looks are not good.
Andy, I agree with your review. With no disrespect, sorry, but Callaway missed the mark in the cosmetic department. It looks like something you would find in a department store, it looks cheap, ugly, dated, a big disappointment. And for performance, all you have to do is go back to the 2021 Callaway Epic Max/LS/Speed line to find that the club head speed yielded similar or better results than these new drivers. I think these will sit on the shelf for the most part. You’d be better off just to spend your money on an epic.
@TheAverageGolfer they spent a fortune on AI and 3D printing design and have fallen down on the finished product, when it's at that price point it's a bit of a let down.
I thought that straight away surely there should have been screws or plugs to blank the threads off otherwise you’re going to risk dirt and moisture getting in there 🤔
Dont like the green colouration, just sticks out like a sore thumb. Your drives did not seem to be as goos as normal so presume the left / right movement was the club. Agree with Callaway hybrids are ace.
I'll give the drivers a swerve - £569.00! Laughable. Slight edit - can purchase for £500 but still way out of my price range. I wonder what you can pick the Paradym up for now? Comparison vid?
Shelf appeal means nothing tbh , nobody tees off and sees the bottom of my club. That line of thinking for any club brand drives me nuts. The bottom will be scratched and dulled within a few rounds.
It is time to accept the fact that driver performance peaked several years ago and paying $600 to gain significant improvement is an exercise in futility.
What driver would you consider the peak to be at? I have a rogue st max and wanted to upgrade this year but unsure with everyones negative comments i been reading all day
@@Jaredxstpthe Rogue is a great driver and likely comparable in distance to the newest Callaway. The best way to answer your question is to compare both driver head to head on a Trackman..
Think unless your driver , irons ect. And knackerd and is 2 or 3 years old can’t see the point of changing as technology has hit that point in the past few years Unless you like new shiny stuff Agree Driver looks a bit cheap
I think Callaway missed the mark on looks and branding this year. Sure they’ll be as good as anything in terms of performance, but won’t grab me in 2025.
The weighting system is also a gimmick. It's well known that you must move a 30grm weight around in order to create draw or fade bias. A 13grm weight just won't move the club at impact. So some lovely Callaway BS there.
Color and shape is different... Cha ching.. USGA won't let equipment improve... Down with the USGA.. I honestly don't care how pros can overpower golf courses. I can't and frankly don't care about Superstars...
I think adjustability in F.W.s is utter rubbish. Just my opinion and I respect everyone else's opinion too. For me it's rubbish though. And to be fair, I don't ever adjust my driver either. I have my clubs fitted to me and to my specs. Then I play golf with them. Anything after that I can deal with in my swing and so can anyone else.
Irons look nice, rescue looks great but then the rest look cheap and nasty. Driver is just a poor version of an Epic. Guess they ran out of development time on them.
Happy new year Andy, love your honest reviews. Totally agree with you in that the irons look great and drivers look terribly dated and from a Costco set.
Ive been a callaway guy forever, but was underwhelmed with the Ai smokes last year, so I’ll test the elytes but also give PXG a try this year
Andy, I appreciate that you provided a sampling of the entire lineup, not just the driver. Also I agree with you on the irons, they do look nice!
The soles of the fw woods remind of the Epic Flash colours. The head is a cross of the Rogue ST's crown + Paradym face.
Good and fair review 👍
I think it’s great that even though you’re supported by PXG, you still review other brands.
You didn’t seem to have your usual enthusiasm for these tests, others have been raving, will accept your review over others.

Andy. Great video mate.
Good to see an all clubs review instead of just drivers like the others do. Nothing there for me though. Not keen on the looks either.

Unfortunately….They don’t “pay to play” so they get no love from anyone. It’s too bad because they are fantastic.
We are all different...... I like the underneath!
There are miniscule differences year to year in any of the major clubs.

It's a strange aesthetic shift from the AI Smoke, back to Epic colours.
Back to epic styling 🤷 ....ill stick with my paradym driver andy love it
Yes stick as you are
mm. Hybrid looks to be performing well, could Callaway challenge the G430?
Like these videos very much, but, please drop the music.

The AI Smoke Max has been a game changer for me but yeah the Epics were sweet.
I will be interested to see how well the LPGA gals perform with these in 2025'.
Have you been having lessons? Swing is looking pretty fucking decent to be fair. Noticed it in the last couple months of videos.
Nah mate.....testing the tips, here you go www.youtube.com/@testingthetips
Looks very good!
Don't like the bolt holes where the weights are not used, it doesn't look right.
Other point to make is how they may fill with dirt if playing winter golf in Uk

im strugging to understand ' turf interaction ' as you claim when you are picking 7 irons off a mat !!!
I didn’t make any claim, listen again
Dont like the green colouration, just sticks out like a sore thumb. Your drives did not seem to be as goos as normal so presume the left / right movement was the club. Agree with Callaway hybrids are ace.
The bottom of drivers is terrible! Irons actually look better than ones typically released with driver name.
Agree on both points

Can't talk driver without mentioning shaft specs
The average golfer, unless he has an ancient driver, is far better off spending the £569 on golf lessons.
Expensive golf clubs. And they are made in china, so if new tariffs are applied you probably have to pay 20-40% more on most golf clubs
I'm sure they perform but they look cheap. Always the way with Callaway.
