We will be testing these shortly! That was something we asked Callaway at the PGA Show and they said there is more spin on Elyte vs Ai Smoke. We'll test and find out!
I wonder if the chrome finish will prove to be more durable than the AI Smoke... A few rounds of play with my AI Smokes and they were scratched to hell
Try the AI smoke irons high launch and a sounded too clicky drove me nuts. I don't think this would be the shaft for him because his spin rate is too low. Definitely like the looks of these versus the older models
I’m using the Paradyms, couldn’t hit the Smokes. Paradyms go a long ways. My swing speed around 88, distance usually 180 yds. Will give these a go against the Paradyms.
This guy has little power. They’re not low launch at all. They go really high (shot heights at 90 feet and higher) and descent angle is above 45 degrees. Spin is fine. These would stop on any green.
Great to see a review done by someone at 75 mph! A lot more of us can relate!
Finally a good looking set of the mainline product.
Real world really relatable swing speeds. Excellent
Nailed it boys, great job
Thanks for the review...these clubs look good and looks like a good combination set could be made from each model...
Nice video as usual!! But would like to see Kevin K do a review of the Elyte and HL as a comparison to his review of the AI Smoke and Smoke HL.
it’s cool that they look like a normal standalone iron set rather than the atrocities that are the ai smoke, maverick, stealth, and others
When showing us the trackman screen after each shot a little box showing strike location would be awesome.
So are these a direct replacement for the ai smoke?
How’s the spin in the elyte compared to last years ai smoke? The ai smoke were too low spin for me

Did I miss the hike mapping? That was the most useful…

Did Mizuno buy Callaway?
Hahahahahahaha, " Nothing feels like a Callaway" 😄
Epic forged vibes but with less tech.
but you've said nothing about the low land angle, low spin or how low the peak height is? you'll never get these to stop on a green!
Why don’t you show face strike locations when doing tests like these ? It’s all that matters with forgiving clubs is it not ?
Looks great but the spin rate is awefully low... even for a stronger lofted 7-iron!
I'm shocked at how low the spin is on these. That is not good but they look so much better than the last couple year models.
@@robertshields6214 on the HL the well hit shots seemed to be around 5k which is ok for that swing speed.
Wish I could take those bad shots off when playing so easily as you did.
I can’t keep up with Callaway’s new club releases every 6 months…..🤯
Low launch low spin and shallow land angle. No thanks 😮
Right… junk
great for a 170 yard bump and run

It’s 2025 now
Ain’t yall tired of saying the same stuff every year 😂
More accurate, better launching, faster, improved AI, self directing, ...
@@zazhou yeh right like JayTakeProfits said same thing every year.
Yeah, really, somebody should just come out with a model named “the more”
so the apex are basically just came out are these more game improvement or replacing apex already.
