In my city, Maharashtra, Rikshaw Drivers charge extra and don't use meter. Government decided to make them use meters because they were looting citizens, like charging 50 rs where they should be charging by meter. When government created law in my city that meters are must, they closed their services for months. Citizens were frustrated because they could find the ride to go to their work. So government had to take back the law. And Now Rikshaw drivers charge 15rs per seat and 50-100 rs special according to the destination. Luckily, my family have a rikshaw driver friend who is good and kind. He has no bad habits and he is a dad who is raising his son and daughter without their mother for years. Really good man.

To me as a foreigner, Uday Bhai Jadav represents the image of India that people hope to meet. Caring, good-hearted, and peaceful. A man who welcomes you to his country not as some rich tourist but as a guest in his home in hopes that he leaves you the best impression India has to offer. A country filled with 100s of religions and 100s of languages. A culture sculpted around the world's oldest practicing religion, Hinduism. This is what people think of when they think of the greatness of India! And the great Uday Bhai Jadav is the tour guide to show you Indias crown jewels! @@cap-uk8fd Actually Mikey Chen was on our local news for one of those scams. I think he was charged $50 for a short trip. Its just common here. But its nice knowing that youtubers don't often sight it out. :)
Yeah i actually dont like it when they tell me to decide the price blind or ask me what way to take like im not the driver unless a passenger says it from the get go, shouldnt the driver be the one to know the best route to take... you are the experienced professional. Aww! This kind of reminds me of the time my dad went to India, he went by himself with no guide just for fun. There was a guy with his son who offered to carry ALL of his things in their car and drive him anywhere for a low price. At that time my dad didn’t know that ther were scams, and you know people who might just take your stuff in their car and drive away. But this driver was really kind. They took him anywhere, and in the end he didn’t get his stuff stolen or anything. :) right after he left India, his friends told him that when they went they got their bag stolen when they left it in a guy who offered to carry their thing’s car, so he was really lucky! Goes to show there are very truthful and kind people in anyplace despite some of the people who scam :))

Uday Bhai Jadav: Namastay! Peace be with you all!
You can not pay this man enough for his honesty and kindness. He may not become a wealthy man on Earth but in spirt, his wealth is beyond numbers. God bless you Uday Bhai Jadav!
I'm indian and if a foreigner visits in india indian citizens greet them like good because there's a phrase in india (Atithi Devo Bhava) it's a Sanskrit phrase... Sanskrit is also called mother of all language as it is very ancient language......this phrase means ( Guests are similar to god ) but some cunning businessmen ruin the image of India .....
This person is like 1 in perhaps a million. The other 999,999 also represent India and it's disgusting ngl. Ofcourse you're supposed to look at the positive side but when it's 1 in million then you can't ignore the elephant in the room.

Such a beautiful man, Uday Bhai. Pure heart and love. I dealt with many scammers and touts while visiting India five years ago, but was also fortunate to meet wonderful drivers who took care of me. One of them told me to call him Baba and took care of me while in Delhi. Pure heart as well. He'd tell me where to go, where not to go, and what to do to be safe as a woman traveling solo in India. @@cap-uk8fd Actually Mikey Chen was on our local news for one of those scams. I think he was charged $50 for a short trip. Its just common here.
For instance no taxi driver here uses the meter, they usually charge you on how desperate you are. I have rarely met a taxi driver who does.
But its nice knowing that youtubers don't often sight it out. :)
True. Mga buraot e 😑
Yeah i actually dont like it when they tell me to decide the price blind or ask me what way to take like im not the driver unless a passenger says it from the get go, shouldnt the driver be the one to know the best route to take... you are the experienced professional. If pressed they give you jacked up prices. Not all but we need to squash this behavior because it ruins it for the rest.
