I've been a singer, pianist, musician, writer and traditional artist for 27 years. I've been a digital artist, 3D model artist and sculptor, texture artist and animator, using said skills to work with games engines (including Halo CE engine, Source, Unreal 3, Unreal 4 and Unity), for 18 years. I also do a lot of mechanical engineering. So I'm sorry if I get lost in terminologies to that point that I simply don't care as I care more about the creation of things. I'm sure that, being a multi-talented person yourself, you'd understand that though right? Be well! (I won't be reading replies.)

As a Star Trek fan my entire life, I can safely say that this exact part is the theme song of my life.
First time I Heard that part I imagined a critically damaged Starfleet ship (constitution class) falling through a planet's atmosphere with Another random ship chasing it and firing at it with pieces breaking off the damaged Starfleet ship.
When I hear that part, I think of one big space battle between the Federation ships and some other fleet.

As a musician I can say that this is a really cool piece. Starts slow, main theme, subtle accelerando into the intense middle section, then a nice resolution to a major key. So good.

This is the best Star Trek theme I have heard... for the entire franchise, Movies, TV, Games... this should be the theme song for the next Star Trek Film... I dont know who composed it, or adapted it... But it was a marvelous job, reminds me of the glory days of movie orchestras in the 80's like Indiana Jones, Superman, Star Wars....
They need to make a show based off of this time period...it'd be cool if they would like have a sweepstakes and whichever player wins, they cast their crew and make a show following their progress. This game is so amazing I play almost everyday.

under the box with the map, there's a smaller one that looks like three heads facing left. Click that, it'll bring up the duty officers missions. You CANNOT send them on missions if you're on a mission map.
