Good review Mike. The low gain is useless, sound is terrible there... LOL. They will get you by in a pinch but honestly, I would spend a bit more and get better ones. A person would appreciate the extra cost for quality in the long run.
The m9 does the job reasonably well, but you have to add "for the price." For another $30 or so, the Hollyland Lark m2 gives you a significant bump up in sound quality as well as in creative ways of placing the mic.
