Let me tell you in india we have traditional rooted people unlike in other countries where the kids insecurities are asserted which is different. In this case they feel it strongly without any assertion from external factors.
Intersex - very important category because the thoughts of binary gender is mostly affecting the kids under this category. They are born with different genetal which in between form male and female and sometimes more genetically different.
I will never say there are immense number of gender but for sure not 2. There are 3 innate gender male female and intersex and 2 acquired gender transman and transwomen.

@@pearlr4805we had something called KULA system and similar in various religious practice. According to which people won't get married to same KULA so there was no chance of brother sisters getting married in future and more over asset and resources with a family were more than population so at that time taking forward family without losing ethicality and not leaving behind any progeny's growth was possible. What now.... is there any kula system existing in full fludge??? If polygamy becomes a new normal of the society how are you going to handle legal needs,brotherhood, sisterhood and brother sister bond after 3-4 generation ( Pls refer SEENA BORA MURDER CASE which will become new normal case types then).
More over if u go even back during empire times when such system existed there was a purpose also which mostly to sustain cordially relationship between empire and to lead peaceful coexistence.
Some system in past are not suited for present scenario. It can also not be supported. There should certain set of rules in the society.

Agree or not family is fundamental for any governance. Let us consider a hypothetical situation where polygamy becomes legal norm and they are resgistered somehow. How will the policies apply, whose reservation category will be taken, who will accountable for the children's future won't it becomes a ground for blame game of responsibility. How many columns do we need to fill mother's and other name, who will the person share the small amount pension or insurance amount, if every is to share will that small be enough for their survival..... This goes on.......
