So per usual I try it on my own a few times, get my ass kicked and say WTF Then I come to optinoob to regain my sanity with his guides. I will never thank you enough man Almost done.

I didn't have Gotterdammerung btw but I used the accessory which gives you a half limit (I forget the name) and with a little bit of time spent fighting rude in phase one I could syphon a full limit bar and destroy the mfers in phase two. Brilliantly done

Really short timing. Messed up first time. After that it worked quite well
If youre a bad gamer like me (lol) and manage to get both could and tifa killed in 2nd stage. This has a nice fail safe. Rude will only use his shockwave or tripple shockwave if you stay away, easilly doged. Just charge up your ATB and keep casting Aeroga and your limit if you get ot back. Not that redoing the fight would have been all that bad. Thanks for the help.

Stupid ironclad had my setup wrong glad I didn't beat them because I'd have no no mp. Sick of the gimmick fights will be glad when it's over

Then dont follow them mate, hopefully some out there for you. If you disagree with using something the guides advises, then probably best not to follow it if you dont agree with the creators perspective
Hey big question, is gotterdamerung required for this fight and chapter 13 on hard mode? If so I’m not even going to waste my time with red dragon.
i use it for chapter 14 and a few others
And if you hadn't beaten the brutal challenge because you needed a break for a minute then this build is not amazingly helpful any suggestions without the the limit
There will hopefully be plenty of other guides out there mate which should fit your needs. I get not everybody wants to do Brutals first, i just have because doing Brutals first makes hard easier, but doing hard first doesnt change the difficulty of brutal at all, so im just trying to make it as easy as possible. You can try and adapt without it or like i say, just look for another guide ;)
this strategy assumes you already have the gotterdammerung?
All of my hard mode vids do almost.
Brutal sims is harder, but doing hard mode first will NOT make brutals easier!
BUT, doing brutals will WILL make hard mode easier.
So why delay the inevitable, lets just make hard mode easier as we can do that!!
Thats kinda my rationale behind it, but understood not everybody sees it that way and would rather leave the hardest thing till last and so make hard mode harder as well.
