15 years. It's been 15 years since the last time we got season 2 and now, here we are. We finally got the new OP for the anime but . . nothing will top this OP .
Although the new OP song for Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf is great, Tabi no Tochuu hits me in a much more personal, almost spiritual-like way. I guess the connection involves me repeatedly listening to Tabi no Tochuu through the course of over 10 years as I have traveled on my own personal journey through life. Beginning with the struggle of feeling that I am all alone in this world and longing for a place to belong to now finding the love of my life and creating a family of my own. This OP song just hits different. I will always remember this song and listen to it as I continue through my journey to the end of my life.
Its a shame that not many people these days know about Spice and Wolf. These days is just seasonal animes with seasonal waifus. Spice and Wolf is something really special, a hidden gem it seems.
It's not a people's fault. It is market oversaturation. Spice and Wolf, if it be airing nowadays, would be just another seasonal anime. And we can't do anything about it.
I just binged both seasons the other day. I love it. Holo is the ultimate waifu lol. I wish there were more animes like this. Nowadays, they are all so fast paced and rushed.

In these moments, I go back to this song and enjoy five minutes of peace I'm still the only one in my friend group that enjoys Spice and Wolf, but I don't care. Its such an important part of me, that even if I'm the only one in the whole earth that knows this masterpiece, I would be happy If i could still enjoy every last bit of it
You are not alone brother, this anime had such a big impact on me. It taught me alot more than the entire world could ever do and today I stand here gratefull for every person I met and still have in my life.

She's got some killer voice with some serious impact. I think I heard this opening like 500 times and didn't think it'd impress me again (been re-watching Wolf and Spice), and yet I find myself not skipping the opening sequence (I usually do for like 99% animes) because I can't get enough of this singing
There's something magical about this. If I dont listen to this in a few weeks, its like i am losing something. I can't shake off this feeling like there's something i ve forgotten..is it a memory? a feeling? I don't know

I have rewatched, and reread Spice and Wolf 3 times and it never gets old. And this op really is just so fitting in the whole exposition of the story itself and I love how many things they can fit inside a minimalistic and beautiful opening.
Natsumi was only 17 years old when the track was released. I'm musician too. I'm a little older. I even can't to think how to be so superior as she is.

Imundeadbro _ spice and wolf was originally a light novel series that is like 13 volumes long. A lot of manga nowadays starts as a light novel and is made into a manga, then an anime I.e. no game no life. Though to my knowledge there is no spice and wolf manga
I really loved the opening for season 1, to me perfectly captured the vibe of what i was getting into. however, i must say this This was an amazing watch that really does a 180 in the direction that most anime have taken as of late, with tonnes of fanservice, unoriginal content that is all in all the same thing reskinned. its truely refreshing to watch something that takes a new approach, really proving anime is a medium not restricted to genres or steriotypes. kissing ass aside, anyone who's watched this would agree there needs to be a third season, with the way s2 ends, and with the content available to be adapted into multiple seasons even. i've heard that the light novels have a great ending, but i need to see it for myself. i need season 3!

Right. I decided to watch this anime while looking for something to kill time with, and the song drew me in with the premise of offering something that's different than what everyone else is watching.
Tria Vang Same here, i love all those random picks, most of the time i get surprised. This is definitely best random pick i ever did, such an amazing anime. I ended up finishing it in one day :(. I knew this anime is high rated and one of most cherished animes out there, but i never knew why is that. It suck that anime version wont get ending, i also heard that manga writer got sick and that its in hiatus, so, it is possible that we will get season 3 one day, when manga is finished. :)
I'm very sure this band has no idea that after all this time, this song still sticks with us. Here in Japan, it is anime song 100... done... but I feel this one was special for many in the Neo-Pagan Community and for just being an unexpected mix of great music, love story, economics, and Pre-Christian European mythology mixed with fantasy that it worked hard on the collective unconsciousness. If only we all could get a season 3.
I am advice you to check other classic series. From the catatonic melancholy of Haibane Renmei to the pure blast of Gurren Lagann, there are a lot of masterpieces worth watching.

I have rewatched, and reread Spice and Wolf 3 times and it never gets old. And this op really is just so fitting in the whole exposition of the story itself and I love how many things they can fit inside a minimalistic and beautiful opening.

Imundeadbro _ spice and wolf was originally a light novel series that is like 13 volumes long. A lot of manga nowadays starts as a light novel and is made into a manga, then an anime I.e. no game no life. Though to my knowledge there is no spice and wolf manga

I really loved the opening for season 1, to me perfectly captured the vibe of what i was getting into. however, i must say this
This was an amazing watch that really does a 180 in the direction that most anime have taken as of late, with tonnes of fanservice, unoriginal content that is all in all the same thing reskinned. its truely refreshing to watch something that takes a new approach, really proving anime is a medium not restricted to genres or steriotypes. kissing ass aside, anyone who's watched this would agree there needs to be a third season, with the way s2 ends, and with the content available to be adapted into multiple seasons even. i've heard that the light novels have a great ending, but i need to see it for myself. i need season 3!

Right. I decided to watch this anime while looking for something to kill time with, and the song drew me in with the premise of offering something that's different than what everyone else is watching.
Tria Vang Same here, i love all those random picks, most of the time i get surprised. This is definitely best random pick i ever did, such an amazing anime. I ended up finishing it in one day :(. I knew this anime is high rated and one of most cherished animes out there, but i never knew why is that. It suck that anime version wont get ending, i also heard that manga writer got sick and that its in hiatus, so, it is possible that we will get season 3 one day, when manga is finished. :)
I'm very sure this band has no idea that after all this time, this song still sticks with us. Here in Japan, it is anime song 100... done... but I feel this one was special for many in the Neo-Pagan Community and for just being an unexpected mix of great music, love story, economics, and Pre-Christian European mythology mixed with fantasy that it worked hard on the collective unconsciousness. If only we all could get a season 3.
Long story short: she is singing about how she found the one person who rid her of loneliness and what they did/would do together.

10 years later, I just found out about this anime. And it was a god damn masterpiece.
I am advice you to check other classic series. From the catatonic melancholy of Haibane Renmei to the pure blast of Gurren Lagann, there are a lot of masterpieces worth watching.
