    Does anyone know what again are the arguments for Dave being Fi before Te? He generally seems to display behaviour closer to Te. He's always talking about Te stuff like tools for fixing stuff house the house or mowing the grass around the house. He also talks in this monotonious Te manner, never really shows much emotions at all, never talks about what is 'right/wrong' (as moral judgement). Of course none of these things are conclusive at all, but apart from him 'being selfish' (as they mentioned before) I'm not sure if I've heard an argument for why he would have Fi before Te?

      Even Dave sees himself as a feeler. There is an interview with Benyamin Tsadik ("Interview - Dave Powers Ni/Fi - INTJ Jumper") and Dave says that he is definitely a feeler. He can do Te, but he fumbles and sees a difference between him and other people who have quick decisive Te compared to him. So he sees himself as a feeler and it is Fi, not Fe (I agree with him on that). The problem is that he also sees himself as intuitive (one argument he has is because he can't get himself to do taxes, like the sensors do). So he came to the conclusion that he is probably Ni first, Fi second. Well, he typed himself INTJ before he figured out that he is a feeler and then he couldn't give up the Ni dom function when it was clear to him that he has Fi first or second.
      He seems like a gamma quadra to me, so I would agree with him there too. They all share weak emotional expressions. ESFP's can show sometimes a lot of Fe, but not if it's against the persona that they identify with. They kind of "play Fe intentionally" (intentionally is maybe a strong word, but the Fe is submissive to Fi) instead of "do Fe subconsciously". So it doesn't come out when they don't feel like it fits the situation or persona. (Of course there are exceptions, even Fe vulnerable leaks some expressions on rare occasions.)

    Isn't he more like ISFP? Because his movies seems to be about Fi-Ti axis. In his movies, actual physical mystery in the environment (N-S axis) is only funny background to real struggle of his characters, which is to be liked/appreciated by other people, or make difficult inter-personal decision. INTJ movies are about Ni-Si. It is about keeping Si people safe and Ni people free. And T-F axis of interpersonal feelings and hierarchy is funny part.

    This Dave guy is definitely *not* an INTJ.
    Definitely an extrovert.
    It seems he types himself as an INTJ for “cool” factor due to INTJ intelligence and also to use TE as an excuse for his immoral behavior.

    Only in the OPS universe is clear, unambiguous Fe somehow defined as Fi. lol I get that the varying personality systems might have somewhat different or incomplete definitions of the functions, but Fe tends to be one of the less confusing/contentioous functions to spot and identify.
    In the very first clip, Todd was literally opining on how "additive" it is to experience communal feeling with 400 people, how "electric" it is to have everyone laugh, cry, and jump at the same time, that the crowd experience can not be replicated, as opposed to a subjectively resonant, singular, solitary viewing experience at home. ..and yet somehow that's supposed to be Fi Like...wut? lol
    "Vibe" is far more synonymous with Fe than it is Fi because it's TYPICALLY defined as "an emotional state or atmosphere being communicated and felt by others." Most typing systems tend to agree that (an aspect of) Fe is about communicating,/interpreting/reacting to externalized emotions and feeling.
    A psychological/behavioral aspect of Fe involves making explicit emotional provocations, directly inducing an emotional state in someone else in order to receive clear cut emotional feedback, which is actionable information, e.g. > I can feel that person’s/group’s expressed sadness, and it feels bad, and so I want to make them feel better, so that we all feel better. Those with strong Fe excel at processing/interpreting Fe emotional feedback and using that to manipulate the emotional landscape in whichever way they so choose.
    Todd is an INFJ and,, fwiw, there are several personality typing systems, like Socionics, for example, that posit IXFJs all have (demonstratively showy) Fi that is stronger than their (creatively wielded) Fe, though Fe is actually a valued, preferred function. Todd is very aware of and secure with his own personal, ldeeply held beliefs and sentiments (Fi), but still finds greater communal value in shared emotional experiences (Fe).

    • @Krisenaa
      @Krisenaa Рік тому +5

      OP defines the functions differently from most personality systems, so it's not something I would break a sweat over. The clips posted on UA-cam are also just taken out of longer videos so in general you don't always get the full context.

    • @obsolete2319
      @obsolete2319 Рік тому +4

      @@Krisenaa Even by OP's definitions of Fe (i.e., being attuned to tribe values, the group's likes and dislikes, caring about others more than one's self [they literally have a video where they cite this sentiment as being indicative of Savior Fe]), Todd is still showing a preference for Fe in the clips because he's EXPLICITLY speaking to wanting to create films the group (e.g. '400' people) likes and enjoys He's still prioritizing what other people outside of himself value. ANd he didn't express this as some one off, inconsistent sentiment.--he was animated by that conviction.

      @@Krisenaa AGREED, and yet that's precisely what OP is doing here, while you unironically keep defending their flawed method. Hopefully, they are paying you for the heavy simping. lol
      But my previous point still stands: even by their own system's definitions, standards, and methods, Todd is displaying a preference for Fe, for the prioritization of the groups's values, what they like and dislike, how they will feel about his product. According to how they have defined Fi elsewhere, Todd should ONLY care about creating content that he subjectively likes. Though he does acknowledge his own unique tastes, he more enthusiastically speaks to making content that the group will respond to in a certain way.
