Russell's opening song at Lytham's "Last Night Of The Proms" on Saturday 3rd August 2013 - This was just the start of a fantastic evening of entertainment from newcomers The Nocturnes, a four man vocal harmony group; internationally renowned violinist Gary Lovini playing to an appreciative home crowd, Jonathan and Charlotte - whose performance of The Prayer won them a standing ovation - and, of course, Russell, who was on top form with a repertoire that included Intermezzo, You'll Never Walk Alone and a lovely Bring Him Home as well as the rousing finale of Land Of Hope And Glory that saw the crowd joining in with flag-waving before a firework spectacular closed the show.
