Thanx for watching & commenting. Wish I would have got catching the bass on video. I had to throw the stickfish back, they're not in season, but I swam away so I think it'll be ok 🤣
Good catch Chris! I just started fishing soft plastics like 6 months ago and now they are my go to lure of choice. I love the fact that they can be rigged weedless and fished slow or fast.
Thanx for watching & commenting. I generally don't fish soft plastics slowly, still kind of new to that. If I'm not getting a bites fairly often, I get impatient.
Thanx for watching & commenting. I've seen many people on UA-cam use them, including you. I bought them at that tackle shop in West Virginia but just recently got to try them.
Here's my thoughts on EWG hooks... They almost all suck and lose fish... I hated EWG hooks with a passion... Until I started making those ewg neds with the victory hooks. It's hard to explain why EWGs lose so many fish but those victory hooks in the neds I make just plain hooks everything. Not trying to be a salesman, I am sure there are other people who make those exact ned hooks that I make. I personally think it's some sort of wizardry or witchcraft. Mike was the one who convinced me to use those hooks and believe me it took him months of talking about them n showing me how good they are before I even began to try them and I have not looked back since! BUT a simple trick that I have used in the past with normal EWG hooks is I used to take the hook point and twist it to the side about 15degrees or so. I believe what could happen is the ewg hook being perfectly flat can sometimes be held in the flat position in the fishes mouth and then it just pulls straight out. I see another snakehead catch in your future!!!
Thanx for watching & the info. That's some pretty interesting reasoning. I'm still kind of a novice at casting soft plastics & working them slowly. Usually I'm trolling with paddle tails & when the fish strikes, they hook themselves & Usually pretty good. I may try the 15 degree bend trick. Thanx. I'll keep trying for another snakehead til I get one
That was a nice bass you caught! Wish you would have caught one of those snakeheads! Maybe next time! Thanks for sharing another adventure Chris!
Nice video and a nice LMB to match. That was a good size stick fish to, bout the size of my PB 😂. Great job Chris. Enjoyed.

NEW SUBSCRIBER!
Thanx for watching & commenting. I may try to use them more often. Thanx for the sub! I've been subbed to your channel for a while. Welcome aboard.
nice video Chris! We might have to invent a sky and cloud patter camouflage suit to wear so we don't spook fish! Nice bass!
Thanx for watching & commenting. You laugh, that may be a good idea. In my experience, most fish won't bite if they see you
Hard to believe there is snakehead in that pond. Got some nice bass, Chris.
Thanx for watching & commenting. I think there maybe snakehead in almost every freshwater pond around here.

Thanx for watching, sorry for the delayed reply. I was out of country for a week & I was pretty sick for quite a few days
I love saucy swimmers!
I rig them up on 1/16 or 1/8 Jigheads. Also try the snacky swimmers.
Snacky great for panfish
