Battlefield 1 is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Despite its name, Battlefield 1 is the fifteenth installment in the Battlefield series, and the first main entry in the series since Battlefield 4. I've wanted to cover Battlefield 1 Easter eggs for a while now but could never record them all. This is where you guys come in, I need your help!

Captain Eggcellent this is a battlefield 4 Easter egg but I know it's on the map golmud railway. You have to have a rocket launcher that shoots straight and doesn't arc like the law launcher. In the map if you head to this big rock formation on the Russia side there will be a sparkle on the mountains if you get into the right position you'll be able to shoot it and hear the scream of a yeti.

Someone did a theory that the ones in "Isolement" or "Isolation" room is actually shellshocked soldiers that ended up losing their minds due to the harsh enviroments of the fort (i.e constant rumbling, screams of death, heat, exhaustion and fatigue, lack of rations, lack of proper equipment, and no ventilation.

The sword in the fire is an Easter egg for the bonfires in Dark souls, the “firework” isn’t a firework it’s a flare, the “zombie door” isn’t a zombie door it’s an isolation room (which is written on top of said door) where a deeply shellshocked soldier is. They didn’t know how to treat ptsd or shellshock back then so their solution was to lock up those afflicted because they were deemed clinically insane

I think the second easter egg is more of an attention to detail, just having soldiers in the background joining the battlefield
In campaign intro, there is an easter egg about the Unknown soldier of the great war, when you die as a soldier in the battfield 1 intro mission it is very very rare to die as the Unknown soldier of the great war, a couple days ago this happened to me. P.S. the unknown soldier was a soldier that fought during ww1 and was never actually identified, to this day he is buried in the Tomb of the unknown soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, Washington D.C. the United States capitol.
there’s over 2000 unknown soldiers in that tomb not just 1.

The zombie door is just an isolation room for soldiers with shell shock. It drives them insane and makes them wanna hide, cry, and maybe worse. They could also have the Spanish flu

Also the silhouettes of soldiers in the distance aren't an Easter egg, it's just REALLY good detail in the game
I dont think a shellshocked soldier would throw his body at the door, plus the feral sounds he or she is making is kinda weird. Plus the shellshocked (ptsd) people I've seen just stand there traumatized but dont act out

Prise de Tahure takes place in Champagne - Ardennes which in France. So it was a French baby and while France was under German occupation in WWII most French citizens opposed it and tried to fight back against the Nazis. Also even if that was a German baby a baby doesn’t have the mental capacity to know what a Nazi is much less identify as one or with their beliefs.
0:30 The name of the store/building translated to English from French is "Signs on Calico". Looking on the web, there are no stores/businesses (that I could find) called Signs of Calico. Calico though, was an old mining town on the way between California and Nevada.

@@Mr_Fancypants you can open it legit using buttons behind a sign there is actually a pipe with a creature in it and you have to throw 5 grenades into the pipe while it screeches then you have to hit the pipes at the top of the room in a specific order then it will unlock the nobs to the pipes and you have to find another code to unlock the nobs and you will get a dogtag. All of this is for a silver dog tag with Morse code on it

The tiny houses are actually a gnomes house because you can find em in bfv and there is an evil gnome that if you shoot it will haunt for the rest of the game and can rebuild it

You can open zombie room door, you can get an Easter egg dog tag from Soissons, you can get a broken bottle from all the apocalypse DLC maps, this isn’t in multiplayer but you can get a UFO One of the campaigns, you can get an escalation skin from Albion, you can get an Easter egg dog tag from decoding Morse code on a bunch of the base game Maps, you can get an Easter egg dog tag from Zeebrugge, you can get an Easter egg dog tag from river somme, you can get an Easter egg dog tag from caporetto and you can get the peacekeeper from passchendaele.

As for the Praise the Sun easter egg, also can be found in Just Cause 3 as a sniper rifle in a fire. When interacted with, it plays the "bonfire lit" noise as well.

The soldiers at neville nights arent easter eggs there just 2d soldiers to increase the atmosphere of the game. There are also used in the first Singleplayer mission.

You can actually see the shadows FAR, FAR better from the French side of the map. That’s how I discovered them. I thought they were actual players for a few seconds until I realized it was a never ending stream of soldiers.
